Gilbert Convenient Mart — Local services in Gilbert

Easily one of the most rude customer service experiences I have had in a while. I understand that my expectations should be low when coming to a shoddy looking location like this, but I was still surprised at how poorly I was treated. Immediately when I walked in I was almost harassed because I apparently don't look of age and the shopkeep goes "Hey kid, let me see your I.D." and after I didn't reply because I didn't think he was talking to me he says "Did you hear me? Give me your I.D." and all I said was I wanted a coffee and he bluntly says "We dont have any". Thankfully this was only my first time in the store, will definitely be my last. This place does have a good selection but the employees are always yelling at each other and the customers.... it is a very uncomfortable environment. I would usually stop in once a week but the last time I stopped in they were out of what I wanted but I circled the store to see if it was moved. I couldn't find it and employees were arguing and were too distracted to help so I walked out. 2 of the employees ran after me in the parking lot, yelling at me and accusing me of stealing. After they realized I had nothing on me, they tried to be nice and they asked what I needed and that they wanted to help. I just walked away...this place is a joke and...

I came here with my boyfriend and was treated awful! We were parked in the parking lot looking for something in the phone and an old man sweeping the parking lot came over and started complaining about how he parked the car (it was fine btw, it was within the lines and straight) and started yelling at us. We couldn't believe it. So we didn't bother going inside and I'll tell you right now we NEVER EVER WILL since he was trying to intimidate us and we felt harassed. I would JOT recommend this place based solely on the terrible customer service. I've never been treated so poorly. I would choose anywhere else over...
