Salon Sienna — Local services in Gilbert

I have been to Salon Sienna three times for myself over the last two years and once for my kids. Every single experience has been truly amazing without exaggerating. I have curly hair and first encountered Corina prior to her reopening her salon and she did an amazing cut and style. It is EXTREMELY hard finding someone that is “good” at curly cuts but Corina was nothing short of exceptional. From when I first walked in to talking to her through the cut and having her share cutting/styling tips, I knew my hair was in great hands from day one so I was determined to follow her wherever she went. Now in her new salon, I have seen Terra, who specializes in curly cuts, twice but has also cut my children’s straight hair (boy, 6 & girl, 9) and is just amazing every time. I was hesitant to schedule with anyone else than Corina at first specially since I was doing highlights but I am so glad I did! Terra did a phenomenal job and I have come out of this salon truly loving and enjoying my hair. What really separates this salon from the others is not only their fantastic work but also their sincere cordiality and customer service. As soon as you walk through the door you are greeted by any and all staff and offered water. I have probably waited a maximum of 5-10 minutes after arrival so their appointment window is very accurate. From the time you sit down for your service to the time you walk out Terra and other staff ask you about your comfort every so often to make sure you are not only getting excellent service but feeling excellent throughout the process. I cannot give Terra enough praise as a hairstylist, as she is the type to really listen and support the kind of cut/ color you want but also offer her own professional friendly advice as to what would work best. Once finished with the service she makes sure you love it and offers to make any changes if you decide something may need a bit fixing afterwards which I have never experienced but is extremely considerate of her and reassuring. During my time there I have heard other staff being just as considerate and supportive as Terra so I’m sure they too are great. They also have a nail lady inside their salon which I have yet to try but has many clients walk in the door. Overall, if you are looking for a professional upscale service with reasonable prices and an extremely welcoming atmosphere this is so far the best hair salon here in Gilbert and I cannot recommend it enough. Never in my life have I received service like this. Let me be specific. I scheduled a complicated appointment with one day’s notice with Tiffanie to color-correct, highlight my hair, and move up my IBE extensions (a brand I researched thoroughly and have come to love, not to mention their amazing stylist locator feature allowed me to find Tiffanie on the other side of the country where I was for work this week), and Tiffanie gave me her entire day with a smile. I don’t work in the beauty industry and believe in letting professionals manage their own processes, given their expertise. That said, there are a few observations I’ve had over the years in regards to the attention paid to color processing and careful placement of color, especially with extensions involved. Until yesterday I’d resigned to the idea of “this is just how it’s done.” Tiffanie, however, not only took the time to carefully assess my situation, but proceeded to take her time mapping out our plan, and when she applied color- instead of slapping it on and letting it process whatever the standard amount of time might be, she kept close tabs and checked every foil regularly to make sure the development was occurring as expected. I already had dimension, so there were variables as to how the lightener would work on different strands of my hair, and she considered all of this. This is not only put me at ease, but encouraged me that my observations all this time were not insane for thinking that everything processes differently and attention to detail can make a difference when looking for the best outcome. I did not express any of this to her during our consultation, this is simply how she and the others at the salon operate. Tiffanie not only moved up my extensions, but placed them better than ever, after carefully applying my highlights to create an absolutely breathtaking blend, which I hadn’t believed was even possible. I’m a laid-back client, but she made it clear I was her number-one priority for the entire day. She was conversational and friendly, and the incredible outcome was the result of tedious and meticulous attention to detail, regardless of what it cost her in breaks or time etc. I’ve never had service like this, and I’ve been to many wonderful salons. I am quite serious when I say I will be flying back to have Tiffanie and this salon take care of my future needs, not to mention I’ll be spreading the word. I don't often write reviews, but the amazing existing reviews for this salon were the reason I took a chance on it, and I want to share my experience. It had been many months since my last proper trim and my hair had gotten very long and was full of split ends. My former stylist had moved out of state and the thought of finding another was daunting - I have a hard time trusting my hair to just anyone! I asked around to some friends, but didn't get any solid recommendations. So I took to Google to find a salon near me. The reviews for Salon Sienna were so overwhelmingly positive, that I was admittedly skeptical at first. But I decided to take a chance. The online booking was so convenient and I was able to make an appointment for the same week with Corina. From the time I arrived, everything was great. There was plenty of parking (beneath the building), and the salon was very clean, classy and peaceful. All of the staff I interacted with were professional and pleasant. I was offered water on multiple occasions. Corina was on time and a complete professional. She was so kind and took my cut gradually - taking care to ensure that I really wanted her to take off multiple inches before continuing. In the end, the cut was perfect!!! I could not have asked for a better result. Her assistant who washed my hair gave me an amazing scalp massage, too, which was awesome! Everyone was so attentive and kind.
