Jos A. Bank — Local services in Glastonbury

PLEASE READ REVIEW: The manager of this store, Deborah, SAVED MY WEDDING. She was empathetic, kind, attentive, and selfless. I went to men's Wearhouse for custom made suits. 2 months are the order was set up I was told at Men's Wearhouse that my custom suit order had run out of fabric and that I had no other options. 3 out of 8 groomsmen did not have suits. They offered no other options and told me to return the suits and "go in a different direction". The store manager at men's Wearhouse was so condescending she made me cry. I called Jos A. Bank in Glastonbury to see if they could help me. Deborah immediately got to work to find a solution. She invited me to the store and after seeing my fiancés custom suit she told me that not only does Jos. A. Bank have that exact suit available off the rack, but so did men's Wearhouse. The store manager at men's Wearhouse did not check their online inventory, but the store manager at Jos. A. Bank did for me (even though it wasn't even her store. The solution was so simple and she was able to help me get the groomsmen their suits. Afterwards she checked in with me and made sure everything was all set. She was helpful every step of the way. Walked in to try on various suits to get a feel for what size i would be in Jos A Bank clothing. Thankfully I was greeted & helped by Tony and Brianna and they were absolutely wonderful!

As a 'Big and Tall' individual finding dress clothes can be tricky as sometimes stores don't carry a wide selection and it can be even harder to land the right fit. While the store didn't have every size available to try on in both suit jackets and pants, there was enough to gauge what size i needed in each style. Although part some of the garments had to be ordered and shipped to the store so we can do very slight hems in the pants the following week.

However what was unforgettable was the customer service offered by Tony and Brianna. They were both such a big help in getting additional opinions regarding fitment, how the garments should look, and determining whether to size up or down. They both were attentive and answered all of our questions. All in all due to Tony and Brianna's help I was able to pick out 3 suits and eve snagged some additional dress shirts in store.

I have dealt with Joseph Banks in Glastonbury On multiple occasions in the last few years. Maggie, the manager, is fabulous. Have purchased a tuxedo for a family member and the seamstress did a phenomenal job tailoring it With a relatively short turnaround time. I recently was in the store and had Used a gift certificate towards a purchase a two items. I returned one of the items on one day and had to Exchange the slacks on another day. I was confused thinking I had overpaid and Maggie never lost her patience with me, called customer support And resolved the issue. The store had done everything correctly and I misunderstood the prior Credit the day before. Maggie never lost her patience with me and she was extremely professional. No matter what we have done with the store, they have always treated us with the upmost respect. Although any of the sales personnel are fabulous to deal with, I will say that Maggie shines when it comes to Giving good old-fashioned customer service… Thank you so much for a comfortable...
