Talbots — Local services in Glastonbury

I tried making a purchase on-line to pick up at store, however I kept getting an error and would not process. I checked the Glastonbury store hours and it stated they are open until 7. I made a trip to the store and when I got there at 5:30pm the door was locked? I then noticed a small sign stating "Closed Special Event" - there was no one in the store? I tried calling no answer. The next morning I tried ordering online again and I still got the error message. I called customer service and they told me to call the store and confirm the items were in-stock. I waited until the store opened and called. The sales person who answered the phone was not friendly. I asked if she could check an item to see if it was in stock - she told me to call back...

I am shocked by the poor attitude of one of the staff members in this store. I recently went to return an online purchase. The sales lady was not happy about it, and told me to remove the items was returning from the bag for her. It was very hostile and offensive. But, apparently, she is tone deaf when it comes to taking care of customers. She never asked what was wrong or if she could help me with anything. I will be sure to shop somewhere else if they don't want...

This Talbots has a really nice layout with petit and plus sizes in their own wings so you don't have to look for them. I went for the petit section and was really happy with the selection. Even after being there for quite a while, the staff was always lovely to work with. I wish the brand would release more clothing made from natural materials, but otherwise, my experience here was great. Parking is easy, handicap accessible and right off...
