This review is about my last visit. After my son’s practice we stopped in before our long ride back home. I ordered a burrito that would have been nice if what happened did not upset me. My son ordered a bowl he enjoyed it. I ordered a burritos the lady is a great job making it. I am very picky, she worked with me. When I get to check out I order a bottle of Sprite. I asked for a cup so that I can through the Sprite into and add ice. They gave me a water cup. I asked for a size begger because when you add ice, it does not hold in the cup leaving me to either drink the reminder from the bottle or drink out of the cup and then add the reminder from from the bottle. The cashier was going to hand me the cup. Just before doing so I am assuming it was the person in charge, a young lady said I would have to pay for a regular cup. I explain to them just bought the bottle I need to travel 2 hours back home. The water cup wasn’t big enough.!I was still told I have to pay for the cup. Then the bomb shell is the process for the cup $3.50. I said what I just paid for a bottle of Sprite and now I have to pay the same price just for a regular cup. My patience has been very short lately. I was getting irritated. I attempted to returning my drink. She Rossini can’t return because the bottle was already open. Soni had to take the small cup add ice, throw the out the Sprite into the cup and then the leftover from the bottle through out. My whole ride back home was filled with disappointment. I can’t belief how Chipotle don’t support their customers I payed over $30 plus on food and then being charge for another I drink that was not needed. Thanks for a disappointing experience. Left me with distaste, and upset stomach. From...
Read moreI don’t leave reviews but I must say I never ate at chipotle before and decided to try it walked in place was a mess, presentation was horrible and the service…we’ll let’s just say it looks as if no one wants to work my first time I grabbed the chicken bowl will say the portion was on the low side but it was my first time, upon reaching the register to pay I was informed they had no change so it was exact change or card which I didn’t have either but the lady ended up taking the 1.60 quaso off in which I was able to pay cash, my 2nd time I was looking to try something a little different but quickly went with the same as my first order as it didn’t seem as if they were willing to fill me in on the other proteins and how they may have tasted and again upon reaching the register I was prompted with the were only accepting exact change or card but this time I was met with a stand off basically over paying with no change in return or using a card,so I just over payed being that I was in a rush yet the tip jar is full every time I walk in… I don’t believe tips are being left all that much with the service offered now 3rd times a charm right? Wrong I placed my order only to be told once again they had no change to give. At that point I just left my order and walked out because I’m not understanding how an establishment has no change to give to their paying customers so at this point I believe the workers may be telling the customers this in order to gain tips from the extra the customers are leaving when paying cash be careful that’s...
Read moreMy recent visit to Chipotle in Glastonbury was nothing short of a disaster. It appeared there was no manager in sight to oversee the chaos that unfolded. First off, ALL the soda machines were broken, and the tea machines were empty. It's mind-boggling how basic amenities could be neglected like this.
The entire place resembled a dump. Trash was overflowing both inside and outside the restaurant, including the bathrooms which were in dire need of attention. The tables were sprayed with cleaner but left unwiped, forcing us to clean up after ourselves. It was clear no one was maintaining basic hygiene standards.
To make matters worse, the restaurant was severely understaffed. It took a painful 20 minutes just to get our food because one poor kid was left to handle the entire line by himself. The workers seemed visibly unhappy and overworked, which unsurprisingly translated into their lackluster attitudes. I can't blame them given the circumstances.
On top of everything, they were out of essential items like rice, tortillas, and even basic drinks. This level of incompetence reminds me of the decline we saw at the now-closed Moe's in town.
Needless to say, I won't be visiting Chipotle in Glastonbury again unless there's a drastic turnaround in management. It's a shame to see such potential wasted due to poor leadership and...
