PizzaPie Glastonbury Delivery — Restaurant in Glastonbury

This place makes a rather excellent falafel sandwich which is hard to find. It's wrapped tightly and perfectly in the paper and foil so it's not a big mess like many others. The stuffed grape leaves were excellent as well. I also ordered a village salad and the one thing I would say about that is they are quite heavy-handed with the pickled red cabbage, it was almost half of the salad. I've never seen that before but maybe that's a thing. I wound up removing a lot of it though. I really like this place but their website is impossible to navigate particularly if you are trying to redeem one of their special offers. I always wind up calling and they are usually pretty good about honoring the discount but it seems like there's a disconnect between the franchise and the franchisor making me feel bad for the little guy. I think they're getting screwed by the company, offering these discounts on the website that you can't really redeem. Fix that, willya? Your customers shouldn't have to haggle because your company can't design a decent user...

My coworker and I just ordered two small sausage pizzas and when they arrived It smelled so bad - it was a strange smell I couldn’t place. When I tried it to make sure It was the actual food, it tasted awful, to me personally it smelled like bad meat. I had a few of my coworkers also smell it and they agreed it smelled funky. My coworker called the restaurant and the person who answered the phone didn’t seem surprised that we were complaining about the bad smell and claimed that something about the oven or how it was prepared was “dirty” and they only just realized it and she said she would let the manager know and that was it. No one at the restaurant thought to let their customers know or to make this right? People could get sick this way. This is completely unacceptable. I will not be ordering again and others should beware. I don’t understand how a place like this...

This was my first time ordering delivery from there and unfortunately it's going to be my last. Maybe I should have gone with my instinct when they called I placed my online order to tell me that they do not carry shaved or sliced parmesan like I requested for my Caesar salad. They also don't have provolone cheese like I requested for the meatball grinder. Then when I've got the food quite honestly my pizza looked and tasted like gas station Pizza. My pizza look like it sat around since yesterday and got reheated. My husband's meatball grinder again was not what I was expecting from a pizza restaurant. If I had ordered that from Cumberland farms maybe. As for my salad they put it on top of the hot food so then I get hot lettuce I cannot stand and they did not send the correct dressing. To pay over $60 for this was not worth it. Definitely not...
