I've recently begun preparing for my home renovation and have been thrilled with what Saybrook Home literally brings to my table as far as quality, choices, knowledge but most importantly exceptional service. The Glastonbury location is beautiful, peaceful and soothing and every time I walk in the door, I'm warmly greeted. I've primarily spent time with Mary, the assistant store manager and she is a true delight. Her passion, knowledge and easy going personality allow me to feel relaxed while in the store but also heard in regards to what it is that I'm really looking for. She has guided me to pieces I never thought I'd choose but am now in love with and cannot wait to have delivered to my home. Without you even knowing it, she'll have you sitting on your next perfect piece of furniture because she pays attention to everything you present to her. Her smile, sense of humor and hugs are priceless! In addition to Mary, I've had the pleasure of getting to know and pick the brains of some of the other brilliant team players at SH, including Adam, Shannon, Jeramy, Kelly and Bridgette. The "experience " (which is really the main part of selecting new furniture) I had at Saybrook Home (Glastonbury) to select a new sofa and love seat was very satisfying. I am not a easy customer to deal with either. From the beginning of my inquiry, to selections and to the final choices made, Mary Goodwin provided great customer serivce.

I had sent several emails to the Saybrooke Home website asking nuermous questions on how they operated. Initiailly i wasn't convinced Saybrook could provide visually/feeling what i was looking for. I need to 'see it and feel it' before making a purchase. All inquiries were handled with professionalism and insight. Especially once i was in the showroom.

As someone who bought most of his furniture at Saybrook Home in Old Saybrook I have traveled from Newington to Old Saybrook many, many times. I didn't expect the Glastonbury store could have much on display but boy was I surprised at the great selection. I really like how the furniture as you enter the store is on the darker side, (much like mine) but as you progress to the other end it gets much lighter. Obviously trends have changed. The store is actually bigger than I imagined and Mary was very friendly and helpful. In addition, it is convenient being located next door to Trader Joes and there is plenty of parking.
