Patty Cakes Bakery Glastonbury — Restaurant in Glastonbury

My husband went and ordered y daughters cake. They took a written description And I emailed what it was to look like as they requested. I ordered a galaxy cake, black frosting with pinks, blue, silver. A teal scorpion on top. We paid for half a sheet sized cake. NOW my husband gets the cake and paid, for the girl working to say “this isn’t what you ordered take a picture on my phone to show the owner” folks the cake is BROWN frosting! My 9 year old could draw a better scorpion than what they threw on at noon the day it was due... because they called us! I call both locations Glastonbury had a HUGE attitude and she knew they were wrong to start with! All I was told was “ma’am I’m not a manager” the owner will call you. My review is because NO ONE BOTHERED TO RECTIFY THIS! I had to go to shop rite because they always have beautiful work to get cup cakes. I will be back for a refund on this...

Should be 0 stars because they said they never made the cake I ordered and didn't even bother to call me to let me know. It was supposed to be my first Mother's Day cake. Then I complained to David about it and he took all day to figure out which excuse to tell me for this mistake. He finally called and said they made the cake and some "Indian" lady picked it up. I'm not Indian nor did I or anyone in my family picked up the cake because we were told it was NOT made! So how the heck did some ghostly person pick up a ghostly cake. I truly loved the things they make but the customer service is terrible and I feel discriminated. I wish there was a way to find out what really happened and why David lied and didn't bother making up for...

My husband and I frequent the Patty Cakes in Glastonbury for breakfast and special occasion cakes. We are NEVER disappointed! The breakfast sandwiches are the best!

When we got married, we knew there was only one place to have our wedding cupcakes made. The staff at the Rocky Hill store (where we placed the order) was just as courteous and they took the time to understand our needs for our wedding. They were flexible with the type of cupcake (we picked three flavors) and the decorations. On the day of, the cupcakes were a hit with our guests and we loved our small cutting cake. We are definitely looking forward to having more at our one year anniversary and we'll certainly continue to visit both locations...
