Working with a dealer in my local area on finding a Ram truck I wanted and my dealer showed me a Ram at Straub. I liked all of the features except in the picture it looked like it had a bed liner but was not listed in the details. I called Straub to see if it was included and was passed off to a salesperson. The sales person wanted my phone number, email, etc. just to answer questions about a vehicle. I told the salesperson I was working with another dealer and they were going to do a trade I just needed questions answered but they insisted they needed my info to explain features of a certain vehicle. I said nevermind and hung up. My dealer said it will be a couple days before they get the vehicle transfered. On Monday I get a call from my dealer saying that Straub is unwilling to do a transfer because "they are working with the same customer" Which was completely not true! I called Straub back and they told me that the sales manager is unwilling to trade the truck but they would compensate me to make the 4 hour round trip drive and buy it from them. I told them absolutely not! 2 days later I get a call from their "customer service" asking if I am still interested, to which I explain everything. She passes me off to another "customer service" man named Michael. Michael tells me how sorry he is and that he will find the vehicle and do everything he can to "facilitate the dealer trade" and text me when he has an update for me. No phone call or text. I call Straub today and get to speak with Charity Fato the wife of the owner. Who now tells me again that they are unwilling to do the dealer trade however if I want to buy it from them they will compensate me for travel. She says that they now have an "appointment" for Saturday for someone to come see the truck. I express my frustration without a single curse word or raise my voice, etc. Charity tells me that she understands and wants to come to some kind of comprimise where I still buy from Straub. Explaining how each dealer has a number to hit set by Chrysler and their are incentives for hit that number and how she is in the business of making money. Even at one point telling me and I quote "You need to learn to forgive" referring to the mistakes her dealership has made. I expressed how she should NEVER tell a customer that they need to learn to do anything! This is the supposed owners wife telling me this. I have never in my life been treated so poorly by this many people at a single location. I hope that even if I can stop just 1 person that reads this and does not shop with these people that I have helped someone. If I could give 0 stars for this...
Read moreWithin 1 week i bought 2 vehicles from here, a Challenger Scat Pack and a Jeep Cherokee Overland Summit edition and the sales staff was very nice and helpful, no complaints BUT the Service department is absolutely horrible!!! When i bought the Challenger i noticed that the speakers in the doors and rear dash were not working so i planned on just bringing the car back to have them fix it since it was under warranty and to get one if the 2 free oil changes they said i got free with purchasing the vehicle, i left the car there and the guy at the service desk said it would probably be fixed or atleast diagnosed within 24 hours and he would call to let me know, 48 hours later after calling 6 times someone finally answers me only to put me on hold and never picked back up. A few more days go by til finally a tech calls and says it was the factory Amp that went out and ge ordered one which should be there the next day and is covered under the warranty but there will be $121 labor charge, i agreed to pay. The next day i call and the same service desk guy says there are no original Dodge amps in stock anywhere in the country so he ordered me one from an aftermarket company, i say ok thats fine until he mentions that it will void my cars warranty if i use it, thats including the powertrain warranty so i say FORGET IT, put the car back how it was im coming to pick it up. When i get there the same service desk guy says its gona be $264 dollars for him to "release the car" back to me, that was supposed to be for the "diagnostics check" which didnt tell me anything but that the speakers werent working which i obviously already knew so i refused and asked to dpeak to the manager because the tech on the phone said it would only cost $121 and thats all im paying EVEN THOUGH they didnt fix it. The manager DID NOT come to speak with me, he sent that same guy back to tell me suddenly now the cost was only $121. I paid it, asked to make sure they atleast chsnged my oil and surprise, NO they forgot to do that. If i could give the service staff less than one star i would, i do NOT recommend this place...
Read moreI purchased a 2020 ram 3500 from here jack Wilson was a excellent sales person probably one of the best I have ever dealt with no pressure to buy anything he explained everything very well truck was cleaned full of fuel and Def truck was ready and waiting on me when I got there to pick it up I would definitely purchase from jack again....well had to add more to this one since it won't let me post to the service department I give the service department 0 stars took my 2019 ram 3500 to them because I called Chrysler about the truck surging when u go up hills or pulling a load with it told Chrysler what it was doing because c&c dodge couldn't figure it out truck didn't do this until I took it in for the recall vb6 I believe was the recall c&c done the recall to had it there about three times for it so Chrysler told me to take it to another lot so I figured I would bring it here and see what they could figure out with it they told me they couldn't get truck to do it I asked if they drove truck around for awhile pulled some big hills with it the guy in service told me they did but guess what the millage on the dash doesn't lie it had the Same miles on the truck when I dropped it off as it did when I picked it up and they had truck for 2 days didn't even call me and tell me the truck was done I had to call them and find out for myself after I sit on hold for over 10 minutes waiting on someone to answer me also tried to explain to them that my truck isn't the only one having this issue told them to look on line about it all kinds of people is having this problem...
