Glen Ellyn Sweet Shoppe — Local services in Glen Ellyn

Probably my favorite store in downtown Glen Ellyn. The dark chocolate covered peanuts just scream my name anytime I am in the area. Ooohhh! They are so good! I love the variety of candies and the nostalgia of the store. It is so cute. It is always a “must stop” place when we have visitors in town. The lady that runs the shop is incredibly “sweet” herself. My daughter really had her eye on a purple t-shirt from their store for Christmas, but it was the wrong size. We drove from Oswego to come visit this candy shop. From the pictures it looked super cute, with lots of options for little man to choose from! When we got there we were greeted by I'm assuming the owner and her sweet doggo. Unfortunately the shop was a lot smaller then I was expecting and was very cramped inside so we didn't spend much time in there. Read some other reviews and I must say I have been thoroughly impressed with Glen Ellyn Sweet Shoppe since discovering it a few months ago. Lots of variety and candies I remember as a kid in the 80's. There are dozens of bins where you can buy bulk by the pound. This includes Jelly Belly jellybeans. They have all my favorite flavors (have 20+).

Definitely worth checking out for nostalgic candy trips and the occasional reward for your kiddies...
