Incredibly disappointed with this service provider. We connected with them when we moved into town at the end of November 2024 and it has been nothing short of a struggle. We have had multiple service calls out to our house. When fiber was being offered to the previous home owner, they declined it, so our only option for now was cable internet with them until the ground unfroze to install the fiber. We optioned for the premium cable option and consistently get speed test readings through Ookla at 10-18 down and .02-.07 up. Our Internet is not consistent AT ALL. We both work from home so this has made our work life really difficult and we always have to stay connected to our phones hotspotting. We can't stream anything on our TVs, we can't use the Wi-Fi on our phones (this has made my virtual medical appointments a living hell.) and there is no end in sight. I will say that the techs who have been to our house have been very nice! However, whenever we have called for our continued issues- we now get passed around from person to person and get put on hold for 20-30 minutes, yes I have timed it. I just wish they would put more effort in to trying to solve the issue with their cable customers when clearly they just care for the fiber only.    Read moreI advise any and everyone to think twice about not getting Nuvera, they suck this time of year, up until spring when temperatures start warming up. No service again today, just like yesterday and the day before. Once the sun hits the lines for an hour or longer it starts working again. I called Tech support to get a sparky woman on the other end of the line who took my name address and phone number with the promise to have someone call me back. No one ever called, nobody cares about their breach of contract. I have personally lost well over $2500 due to Nuvera internet service failing time and time again last year, and so far lost $450 this year due to no service from Nuvera. I will not listen to my wife anymore I think it's time to sue Nuvera for breach of contract and money's lost from poor job performance....
   Read moreI noticed that most of the feedback is several months old, so I wouldn't put much faith in it. My experience with Nuvera started several years ago when I lived in Hutchinson, and that experience was great. Good service and good customer service. Then I moved to Glencoe and had to deal with Centurylink for the last 8 years. I won't ever start about all the bad experiences with them. We recently switched back to Nuvera and have had no issues what so ever. The installation technician was great and did a great job under difficult conditions, and had everything done within a few hours.
