TERRIBLE HORRIBLE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! I would never recommend this place to anyone. I ordered a couch/ottoman set that was supposed to be delivered together as it is a set on 12/8 the guys set up the couch and then when I noticed they were leaving i asked where the ottoman was he said it was in back order I told him not to leave till I called the guy who sold me the furniture because of the whole set was not going to be here i would rather wait till it all came the sales man said it was on the wrong truck and would be here before 10:30PM! Next day still nothing i called and come to find out that it was on a truck being shipped here and would be here before Christmas sometime who knows so at this point I have to choice but to wait. I was called Saturday at 11pm to let me know that the ottoman was in and going to be delivered Monday I was so excited I got the call it would be here today between 10-12:30 This moring i got a text saying to be here in 1hr 15min so I wished home from work to get here wait. I called after about 20 minutes I called in to see where they were I'm fursterated at this point iexplained it to the lady on the phone I needed to get back to work and they shouldn't say a time and not be there and needed a time she cussed at me and then hung up then the tech called me said he was 30 minutes out I told him good why couldn't the lady on the phone say that before cussing at me and I hung up on him. But text right away that I was here waiting and I needed to get to work then I got another call asking if I wanted the delivery or not I was like duh yes I want it please just hurry I was seriously so upset I was in tears at this point because I could not believe how the lady talked to me on the phone previously. The lady apologized, said she would listen to the recording and that the technician would be here soon. Again, another 30 minutes goes by i call the delivery guy and ask him how long he's gonna be. He laughs at me and tells me he's on a difficult delivery, and it's gonna be a few hours. I asked him what kind of difficult delivery because i was told he was in his way plus I see his GPS no far he sais ya difficult delivery i spoke to the girl in the office i heard you were mad so I'm like oh you guys are playing games now i get cussed at and you think it's funny to take forever when you right there I told him i can't wait anymore after work I went up to the warehouse to find out what was going on with the delivery and see when they could deliver it.The manager said he would call me then he called me and told me that they are not going to deliver the other half of my couch. If I want it, I can come pick it up or I can get refunded. I told him no I paid for an ottoman that goes with the couch. I need it delivered. I paid for the delivery. I can't pick it up He said that the delivery guy was not going to come to my house. And if I wanted a refund for the couch, I can bring the couch back up there to them. If I had a way to bring the couch up there, I wouldn't have had it delivered in the first place. And if I had known that it wasn't all gonna be delivered in one piece, I would not have had any of it deliveredAnd if I had known that it wasn't all gonna be delivered in one piece, I would not have had any of it delivered. The manager said he didn't know what to tell me. Those were my options. So now I have a 1/2 a couch with no ottoman, and I have been disrespected worse than I've ever been disrespected in my entire life. Your response is RIDICULOUS. These are TWO DIFFERENT PRODUCTS. This isn’t a SLIGHT VARIATION. The SKU was completely different.
I find it VERY concerning that the person who chose to provide this insane response to my review CANNOT TELL THAT THESE ARE COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. Do you need your vision checked??? Maybe you shouldn’t be selling furniture. I think we found the problem.

We have had the worst experience trying to purchase some dressers. We purchased two at the same time, identical, but one was in a different warehouse. It took an extra month.
They called me after a couple weeks and scheduled delivery. I rearranged my whole day only to find out it was some “mistake” and someone read something wrong.
A couple weeks later, second dresser arrived smashed. They wanted a technician to repair it. I told them to take it back, that I paid for a brand new dresser.
Dresser arrived over two months after the first order. They actually had it in last week and failed to call me. I called them and found out it was there. They scheduled delivery this morning.
THEY SENT THE WRONG DRESSER! I couldn’t even believe it. Now I’m worried that I won’t be able to get the second piece and that my bedroom furniture won’t match after all this money.
I received a call shortly after from customer service rescheduling delivery for Sunday. I tried to confirm all the details with her, so hopefully it works out this time.
Update: I was forced to drive 45 minutes to this store just for the privilege of speaking with a manager. When I arrived I was absolutely livid. The managers were rude, dismissive, and incompetent.
Both of THEIR delivery drivers SAID that this was NOT THE SAME SKU NUMBER. They both checked the dressers and confirmed this. When I got to the store the managers at the store said QUOTED VERBATIM “I don’t know anything about SKU numbers.”
Now, mind you, customer service said the manager were “too busy to talk to you right now. They will call you back AT THEIR CONVENIENCE.”
The MANAGER HIMSELF said “it’s a Friday morning. We aren’t busy.” And they definitely were not busy, because I had not one but two managers following me around trying to sort this out.
I added additional photos of the top and front of the original dresser delivered. I checked the floor model and it was very similar to this dresser. It ABSOLUTELY DID NOT HAVE ALL THESE WHITE MARKS SCRATCHED INTO IT EVERYWHERE.
Then the manager tries to double down and said (again a direct quote) that the lines I’m seeing are just “natural wood variations.” THE HELL THEY ARE!! These are CLEARLY in PATTERNED MARKINGS. I even asked customers in the store and they all agreed they were NOT THE SAME AT ALL AND THAT ONE IS CLEARLY MARKED.
This manager also basically scolded me like a child for not just going through their customer service. I said “I’ve been dealing with customer service for three months and I’m WORSE OFF.”
Just remember folks, if this happens to you or anything similar, you’ll be treated the same way. Heed the negative reviews because they artificially stack good reviews. It’s not an accurate assessment of this...
Read moreAmerican Furniture Warehouse On August 4, 2025, I purchased two end tables and one reclining power loveseat from American Furniture Warehouse. I especially liked the end tables because inside of each was an additional shelf that could be used to hold drinks rather than placing them on the top where they might cause moisture rings on the finish. We looked at several power recliners and picked out one we liked but was attached to a large sectional sofa. Our salesman explained that the recliner to be delivered would consist of just the end pieces of the sectional easily connected by built-in hooks and eyes. The end table and power loveseat were delivered August 8th. The technicians began to connect the two pieces of the loveseat with considerable difficulty, rocking the pieces to try to make them connect, separating and re-trying, and became generally frustrated. One ran to the truck and came back with a power tool. Remembering what the salesman had told us about how easy the pieces would connect, I asked why they needed a power tool and whether they were jerry rigging the two pieces together. They said that they were assembling it correctly. I was sitting on the loveseat that evening when my little dog jumped up on it to sit on my lap and his legs disappeared into a large opening I hadn’t noticed – a gap ranging from 2” to 1 ½”, from front to back, between the cushions. I called customer service and they sent technicians out today (8/9/25) who came in, walked to the loveseat and said, “That’s how it’s supposed to be.” I said that I had sent a picture to the salesman and he said that was incorrect. They said the salesman was wrong and if I wanted to correct it, I should buy the console that goes in between the sections. I had chosen not to get the console because of limited space. The technicians were in my house for less than 5 minutes. The 2”-1 ½” gap between the loveseat cushions is a danger to my dogs and my young great-grandchildren so I have decided to return it, along with the end tables.
One the way out, the technicians asked why the end tables were at the front door. I explained that neither of them had the drink shelf inside, which was the feature that I especially liked. They quickly replied, “Oh, it’s underneath” and quickly turned them over before I could tell them that I had already looked there. Very condescending. Please know that none of this was the fault of the salesman who I had emailed twice with my concerns and who promptly replied each time. He was extremely helpful as we quickly moved around the showroom looking for the right loveseat. My family and I had a wonderful time searching for the furniture that would look best and be most comfortable for my home. What happened after I made the purchase completely destroyed that experience and left me with no furniture in my living room (the old reclining loveseat had been removed) and extreme disappointment in the post-purchase...
