Garden Flowers and Events — Local services in Glendale

I placed an order through their website for a specific arrangement that they had ON their website. I wrote a few requests one of them being to not include leaves. The owner, I am guessing, is the one who called me. He sounded extremely dissatisfied that I requested no leaves and was very honest about the arrangement not looking the same. At the end of our phone call, I said if it’s going to change the arrangement drastically, then just include it. He assured me that he will do his best to make sure the arrangement looks right. The recipient sent me a picture when it was delivered and it looked NOTHING close to what it displays on his website. The tulips were not properly arranged and it looked like it was just placed randomly (mostly on the bottom) which caused the arrangement to come with all the tulips drooping.

I called to let him know my dissatisfaction and to specifically tell him about the tulip placement and he became defensive and said the reason why the tulips were drooping were because of me asking for no greenery. I told him the placement of the tulips in the picture versus the arrangement is not even close and it has nothing to do with the greenery not being included.

Instead of offering some sort of compensation like most flower shops do, he continued to argue with me back and forth. I was very honest and told him I would be submitting this review.

If you want horrible customer service, and somebody who doesn’t take accountability, feel free to use them. Otherwise, it’s a hard pass!!! I’ve attached the pictures of the website vs the arrangement I got so you can make your own judgement.

The flowers were gorgeous, and the pictures don’t come close to what it actually looks like in person. Overall I had an amazing experience. Customer service was top notch! I wish I got his name, but the guy helping me with my order was pleasant and very helpful. They went above and beyond to ensure my flowers were delivered at an appropriate time.
