Teapot Bakery & Cafe — Restaurant in Glendale

Pretentious and rude. I came in for a pickup and was treated poorly. The store claimed that they had not confirmed the order and I was told that I should not have come in and would not fulfill it because they only had half of what was on the list. I let them know that all I do is accept an order, I cannot know how they are doing on their end, yet again I was told that I should not have come in. I let them know tactfully that it is not up to me when I receive a call for an order. My job is just delivery. Employee said they knew that but still wouldn’t decline the order on her end. I said, you know what? I’ll call HR for you. The employee did not look happy and put her iPad down. I called HR, and the Rep as always said they would call the restaurant to confirm that they could not fulfill the order. I sat on hold for at least 10 minutes as the Rep tried to call the store but guess what? The Rep came back on the line and let me know that the store would not answer. Surprise surprise. The employee wasn’t alone and the store was empty. Obviously trying to run from a problem. On my end calling HR is always a joy and the wonderful Rep on the line was very helpful. Very glad to have the job that I do instead...

This place surprised me! Being in Glendale, in such close proximity to Movses and Paradise Pastry, I just didn't expect much from "another bakery/pastry popping up in Glendale". Everything about this patisserie exudes European elegance and excellence in both the interior design elements, pastries, and service. The staff girls were very professional, polite, and helpful. The pastries were as flavorful and delicious and delicate as they looked. The European custard creme and the mousse flavors on the strawberry and mango mousse cakes were amazingly tasty and not too sweet so one can actually taste the flavors of the fruits instead of tasting just sugar. To my delight, everyone in my family gobbled up the big box of desserts once each person got a taste. Next time you want to WOW someone, take them a fruit tart cake or a box of mixed desserts. Move OVER Movses and Paradise Pastry, looks like I just found a new go-to...

Went here today to try it out. There was a good selection of pastries, but a lot of shelf space to expand. The ladies behind the counter were extremely sweet and helpful.

I took a box of pastries home. We had delicious Napoleons with creme, tiramisu, custard eclairs, and a few other items. The quality level is very high. More so than the other Glenoaks bakeries. The taste was very good. Not too sweet, but extremely delicious. I noticed that they also have a sandwich and coffee selections. If you haven't tried this bakery out...
