L.A. Banquets - Glenoaks Ballroom — Attraction in Glendale

I just hosted my son's Christening at this beautiful ballroom and could not be happier with my decision!!! If you are looking for a venue to host a special event, look no further! Beyond being a beautiful venue, Haik, the manager, was extremely professional, friendly, organized, and reliable throughout the planning and execution of the event. Being the perfectionist that I am, and before selecting Glenoaks Ballroom, I had a list of other venues I was going to see in order to compare, take notes, and make a decision for where I would host the reception party for my son's Christening. However, once I stepped foot into the Glenoaks Ballroom and met Haik, I knew that I would not be visiting the other venues on my list and that this was it.

The moment you walk into the hall, you will appreciate its beauty and elegance. The venue has been newly remodeled, carpets are new and have a beautiful design pattern. There is a white beautiful, modern dancefloor in the center of the ballroom, a built in LED lighting system with a variety of color schemes (with patterns and other effects that appear on the dancefloor which are usually an add on with other DJs and venues), beautiful and elegant chandeliers, beautiful mirrored elements on the wall and furniture. In short, you really do not need to decorate this hall as they also provide beautiful gold chivari chairs, tablecloth and cloth napkins.

The food/catering was not only delicious, but the presentation was equivalent to a high end hotel with classy modern black dishes, offering a variety of authentic middle eastern, Armenian, and international appetizers. They even had an elegant charturi board with brie cheese - not your traditional Armenian/Middle Eastern catered string cheese with cucumber plate, lol! There was also a beautiful and elegant variety of cocktail appetizers offered during the cocktail hour. This is aside from the delicious main course.

Beyond the delicious food offered, the venue provides you with endless additional elements you can add to your package. There are projector screens on both ends of the hall from which I was able to play a slideshow for my guests to enjoy and glance at during the cocktail hour. The cocktail hour includes a live musician - either a violinist or guitarist. I chose a guitarist and he was amazing! I also selected to add an open, premium bar, which is extremely rare for a private banquet hall- and it was open to my guests for the entire night! I have only heard of hotels offering open bars. All my guests were very happy and felt treated with this perk as they could ask for the bartender to make the most rarest cocktails and any mixed drink their hearts desired- from margaritas to an old fashioned cocktail. I also added a tea, coffee and handmade pastry station, which also was a hit with my guests who did not necessarily want to drink alcohol - or just wanted a break from sipping on a cocktail. Everyone was either sipping on a mixed cocktail or an elegant glass of delicious brewed tea throughout the evening and enjoying themselves!

Also, I must emphasize the exquisite air conditioning system in this venue!!! It was over 100 degrees on the day of my event, a very hot August summer day. The temperature in this venue was amazing, comfortable and perfect during the summer heatwave.

I am truly grateful that I found this venue, and truly appreciate meeting and working with Haik as well as the other floor manager Kevork, who made sure that every detail of my party was a success. I look forward to hosting other events at this venue, and also look forward to attending this venue as a guest. Overall a very elegant, classy, all inclusive venue which will not dissapoint! Excellent service and management team. A great return on your investment for any occasion you wish...

I had my wedding at Glenoaks Ballroom on October 19, 2019, and everything was just beyond perfect!

The venue looks so well-kept and dreamy inside; the staff are pleasant and helpful; the food is absolutely delicious (every single plate is to die for); and Haik, the manager at this venue, is nothing short of amazing. He is absolutely a professional at what he does. We booked the venue a year in advance and he made sure the process was extremely easy for us. He clearly communicated what we needed to decide on, when we would need to provide him with our decisions, lists, etc., he gave recommendations for rentals, was easy to reach and responded quickly to my many questions, was extremely accommodating to our several requests, maintained a professional attitude throughout, and overall, was just a genuinely kind person to work with.

Our wedding night was absolutely amazing and I'm so thankful to Haik and his team for making sure everything ran so smoothly and tasted so delicious! Our guests are STILL talking about what a wonderful wedding it was, and how mind-blown they were at the level of service received at the venue.

And the BEST part? This venue, and the manager Haik, have been providing this level of excellence for years. I've attended multiple weddings at this venue and my family threw my brother and I a college graduation party at this venue back in 2015, and I can honestly say that this place never fails to amaze. It was just as good then as it is now.

I’d like to split this review into two parts. First, Glenoaks Ballroom is AMAZING. Like most couples I’m sure, my fiance and I had an idea in our head, but had trouble explaining our vision. Our jaws dropped when we got to the venue on our wedding night and they turned that blank canvas into EXACTLY what we were looking for. Everything about how it looked was PERFECT. With that being said, the ballroom was just a cherry on top.

The selling point was the customer service, lead by the man himself, HAIK! From the very beginning, Haik was unlike any other venue manager. He was kind, let us speak our thoughts, and said “yeah, we can do that” to everything we wanted.

We had absurd ideas from bringing in trees, to being annoying with lighting, to customizing table’s and table placement and even getting a CO2 blaster! (Which we opted not use).

Every step of the way, for two years, Haik made us feel comfortable and crazy. (crazy because i was so worried about things, and he kind of just sat back and said “don’t worry, we got this!”)

Our wedding night was beyond perfect. Our guests had fun, the drinks were pouring all night, the food was so good and so much, and we had so much fun. Setting up a few days early and cleaning up a couple days later was such a blessing.
