this is going to be a long one.
After living here for a year, my lease was coming to an end on 12/21. I reached out to Bryant, on 11/09 requesting to point me in the right direction to transfer to a 1 bedroom unit on the same property as I was on a 2 bedroom and wanted to downgrade. He told me transfer requests require a 30 day notice but I already provided my 60 day notice to vacate so he told me he would follow up with management regarding it. I DID NOT receive a response until 11/23…. so after the 30 days transfer notice would have been due. This place is a joke. the communication is horrible, nobody communicates with eachother or knows what’s going on.
the “luxury” locks that they have on the door they you can put a passcode in never works. I think it’s worked for me a total of only 3 times. It also has batteries and makes a nonstop extremely loud beeping noise that disturbs the whole building. I called maintenance after hours and they said it wasn’t an emergency so I would have to wait until the next day for them to do it. This annoying situation was right when I got home from a 12 hour shift. Why not just tell me how to do it myself so I can actually get some sleep and not have neighbors think someone broke into my apartment? One of my neighbors ended up coming out of their unit to see what the noise was and thankfully they helped me figure it out. absolutely unacceptable.
People smoke in their unit and it would seep into my apartment. Cigarette smell gives me the worst headache and after complaining to management about it multiple times nothing was done- i was just told “I will send a courtesy reminder of our no smoking policy”.
If you travel for work, expect your car to be towed when you come back and management to laugh in your face about it. I asked why a notice wasn’t put on my car or anything otherwise my roommate would’ve moved my car for me and Luca told me “We actually aren’t required to give notice to tow. Do you want Quik tows phone number?” all with a smile. If i’m paying $2100 in rent, I don’t really have $500 to bail my car out of towing so thanks for that!
The residents don’t clean up after their pets. there is dog poop all over the property, on the sidewalks, in walkways. The whole community smells like dog pee so bad. Don’t even get me started when it’s 115 degrees out and it’s baking in the sun!
I was given the option to renew my lease for my 2 bedroom unit for $390 more a month so my base rent would’ve been around $2,320 not including all the fees they add on top of the base rent. Tell me why I see my unit on their website going for $1,650 a month??? money hungry.
For the amount that you pay, and the location you’re in it’s not worth it at all. management is absolutely horrible and there is so many things that can be better about this place. They also delete bad reviews so I won’t expect this to stay up long. I would definitely...
Read moreUpdate: since posting my original review regarding the issues with air conditioning in our unit, the issue has been resolved. After I posted my initial review, the Hangar staff were quick to reach out and send out maintenance staff to rectify the situation. Accordingly, I have updated the review to attempt to provide a more fair and comprehensive review, and increased the star rating.
The GOOD: the apartment itself is very spacious and has excellent design. Countertops are beautiful, stainless steel appliances, and a large kitchen are all positives. The two bathrooms in our unit are also spacious and the showers and sinks all have good water pressure and temperature control. The complex itself has nice amenities including a fitness center, dog park, and pool, as well as a valet trash service.
The BAD: as mentioned originally, we have had significant issues with our air conditioning, which has broken down twice in the past two weeks and left us to rely on a portable unit for several days each time, which meant our apartment stayed around 83-85 degrees until the main unit was fixed. Unfortunately, we had significant issues with communication with the front office and maintenance staff for both of these occasions, however in their defense they responded quickly and effectively after my original review was posted.
The TAKE HOME: The complex itself is a new, gated community and we have not had issues with our neighbors at all. The complex’s amenities are nice and include a well-maintained fitness center, pool, and dog park. Our apartment itself is spacious, with updated appliances and a beautiful kitchen and bathrooms. We have been very unhappy with the issues we’ve had with air conditioning and communication with staff, however for now those issues have been resolved. Accordingly, I am updating my rating from two stars to three stars and will continue to update this review as our time...
Read moreIssues have not stopped since our first move here. Moved into apartments for the “luxury” behind the name but we have ran into constant issues. First started with marijuana smoking policy not being enforced with neighbors. The smell would come through the vents where my infant daughter and toddler son were sleeping. who knows what else was coming through those vents as I would constantly feel nauseous & would get headaches . Activity in & out , what was the solution? Suggested we move to a different unit instead of enforcing the rules to the ones breaking it. Next thing you know another neighbor witnessed the apartment next door get raided by police . We downsized to a one bedroom & have had 4 leaking issues so far with the rain. Maintenance Guy just came to put a bucket to collect the water leaking until they submitted a warranty claim to fix this leak. Now not only is water coming in through under the front door but water is seeping through the entire baseboards along the wall. So many 4+ reviews but after speaking with residents in the area they don’t agree. Another resident states she has complained multiple times about the speeding issues here. Not...
