I am affiliated with Not Just Wings, and proudly so, and it makes me sad to see such blatant bs as a few of these recent reviews. I challenge this so-called "officer" to make known what township he is employed by so that possible legal action can be taken against him for impersonating an officer, because starting from top to bottom all the rest is fiction.
The owner quit smoking cigarettes months ago and would never dare smoke around any of the food. They receive tons of business and that is not by accident; she instills quality into her employees and product. "If you wouldn't serve it to your mother, don't send it out of here", is a common saying in there. And she is a clean freak to boot! She has been well known, to local law enforcement in particular, to spend long hours locked in the store on cleaning binges . As for the syringe-shaped mosquitoes that has just about been described in that "infestation" review, maybe it was something YOU took while you were hiding behind your computer screen? People that have drug problems suffer an almost incurable disease, of the mind, body and spirit. Who among any of us can claim to have never loved an addict despite the despicable behavior they are known to exhibit? I, myself, have been in recovery for 5 years now, and owe a debt to people at NJW for helping me to stay there in times of need. On top of that, no employee would EVER be allowed to be in the working area of the store in anything even resembling the conditions some have described mainly because of the danger they would pose due to fryers BOILING OIL at 400 degrees.
All I can say is that if you have an axe to grind, grind away, and may God bless you. The truth, and quality, just smiles and always wins out to those in the know. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and we all strive to improve and you are encouraged to voice and post your critiques, but be honest, don't make up some hurtful and harmful fairy tales to pander to some audience in on the joke. The store stays very busy at times and that doesn't always bring the sweetheart out of us at all times so we appreciate any patience spared. At the same time, we're going to ensure quality, and delicious, fast food at a competitive price in a timely manner. Please let us know if you disagree and we will do our best to accommodate you however possible.
You could help us further if you please have your order ready when calling because time is precious and life is easier when you can tell us what you want and we can get to working on it. We don't know what you meant to order and we don't dress-up fries and we empathize with you if that's how you like to do things but everyone and everything has their imperfections and that's ours.. and that we don't have mushrooms either. Call it policy. Peace, love and God's...
Read moreNOT JUST WINGS needs to change their name to, "NOT JUST CHEESE STEAKS" because these are the BEST CHEESE STEKAS I've had in Delco since I first tried Leo's a few months ago!!! This is the third time I've ordered from NJW and literally the second day since two days ago that I got a cheese steak from them. The first time was a hamburger platter the week before this and that was GREAT!!! I actually enjoy NJW's cheese steaks more than Leo's, and I'm not just saying that to say it. Leo's is great, don't get me wrong. But I don't like how Leo's lays the condiments (ketchup/mustard) on top of the steak and then the wrapping paper pulls all of the condiments off of the steak when you open it. That's never how I was used to enjoying cheese steaks growing up. NJW's on the other hand mixes the ketchup into the meat with everything else, nicely combining all of the flavors of what you have on your steak together, WASTING NOTHING!!!! Below are the two steaks I first got this week of July 25th - July 31st, as today is the 31st. First cheese steak = Pepperoni cheese steak with salt, pepper, mayo, ketchup, fried onions and green pepper with white american. DELICIOUS!!!!
Second cheese steak = Pepperoni cheese steak with salt, pepper, mayo, ketchup, lettuce, tomato, and fried onions with white AMERICAN. EVEN MORE DELICIOUS THAN THE FIRST!!!!
And that melty hot white american cheese just blends in so nicely with everything. Definitely my now go to place for Delco cheese steaks. NJW's only has one SIZE (10 or 12 inches I think) around $9 or $10 depending on what you get. But it's cheaper than Leo's. And even though Leo's has that super long large for over $20, NJW's steaks for the taste, price, and size is the go to winner for me...
Read moreMy husband loves this place. He comes here all of the time for their wings; him and I splited a cheesesteak and fries one time. I love their wings too, and I love their cheesesteaks too. However, their fries are a hit and miss. The first time my husband and I had their fries, they were all of that and a bag of chips. The second time, I ordered a delivery and the fries we mostly cooked but some were undercooked-soft, flabby, and mushy. The cheesesteaks are very good; they use real ground beef no steakums like the other fast food joints in the area. The first time I tried their cheesesteak it was good. The second time I tried their cheesesteak it was still very good with the exception of 1 blonde hair in my steak and I have dark brown hair. Thank God I said my grace before I ate because hair is undigestible-you can die from too much in your stomach. Overall, that was very unsanitary. They need to wear hair nets, hats, and gloves strickly for food purposes. If they don't want to do that then they need to get out of the food business. Hair in my food is nasty. It was nothing but the blood of Jesus that protected me from swallowing the blonde hair. Beside these imperfections: Undercooked fries, and NOT wearing hair nets-possibly shaving facial hair. The fast food here can be better. I had to let them know about these changes so they can improve the business for more clientele.
P.S: Here we are a yr later and the fries are super soft and flabby. With no salt or pepper even if you ask for them to be cooked well done 2xs...
