Let me preface this review with saying that Ola & Laz were both very nice & made the FOUR HOURS I spent in their store rather pleasant, HOWEVER, in the end they sent me home with completely screwed up phones and internet that wasn't near as fast as they claimed. It took me another hour+ on the phone with customer service to fix my son's phone[s] and then the Verizon fraud department texted, called & emailed me- so I had to spend ANOTHER 45 minutes on phone to explain that it wasn't fraud, but mistakes done by this Verizon store. My son & I went in to get a new iphone- he had a 13 whose port wasn't working so he couldn't use wired headphones or charge w/a cable.- and Ola convinced us to get the new iphone16 w/a partial monthly reimbursement, but also keep the 13 [ with a new number] since 3 phones cost the same as 4. We FIRST had to change our plan.I had a grandfathered old unlimited plan & we had to change to unlimited welcome for the 3 phones & Plus for the new 16 to get "the deal."- This is where stuff started to go off the rails- after changing our plan our account kept saying "pending" change & therefore made activating the new 16 & changing phone numbers a problem. VERY LONG STORY short after FIVE calls to Verizon at the store and a bunch of short cut stuff done to try and fix the mess they made- We left the store with the payment plans all messed up, the iphone 13 with NO phone number and the iphone 16 not registered properly. Ola told us not to worry, since the bill was accurate even though the phones were all reversed online. OK- well you know why this a problem?- Because even though the new 16 worked- it wasn't listed online w/the correct IMEI number- which could effect the whole info being backed up to cloud- AND the plans weren't matched to right phones- AND I'd be paying a monthly fee for an iphone 13 paperweight. Also Ola suggested we try the new Verizon 5g internet- I told her we had Xfinity fast service & son's a gamer- she said try it & its free if you return.Tried a bunch of places for the router, never got more than one bar & the service was "laggy"- She also said Verizon doesn't charge for their router- NO, instead the "35 dollar" internet costs $60 because Verizon charges a $25 Home Device Protect fee. [ how's that better than a router fee?] Regardless, the 5g home internet didn't work in our place.AND online I noticed she gave us the slower of the 2 internet choices- how could that possibly compare to Xfinity's fastest service? I tried to return it SAME DAY. Laz explained that they don't take equipment back at the store, I would need to mail it back- and he didn't want to cancel the internet until the next day because of how much my account had been messed up that day. Took my number & said he'd call me next day. LOL. Never happened. I canceled my own internet & GOT CHARGED $5 for ONE DAY I had the router. To be frank- the customer service rep that fixed MOST of the issues the next morning could not believe how messed my phones were. We had to verify all the IMEI #s- de & reactivate phones, shuffle the plans around and try to place payment plans under the correct phones. Even after all that- the credit application for the new iphone 16 was listed under ANOTHER phone number-not in use- and that's why I had to spend time talking to Verizon fraud- to explain how the store messed up- not that someone was trying to do something shady. I gave three stars after this fiasco because Ola didn't mean to make this mess BUT I'm upset that I paid a set up fee to this store and STILL have to pay a $35 activation fee to Verizon. I spent $275 at this store- including fee[s]- and left with an iphone 13 paperweight & an iphone 16 so screwed up I had to prove there was no fraud. Good news?Verizon gave me...

Ā Ā Ā Read moreI normally don't upgrade. But today was an unusual day. My phone has been acting up recently but still functioned perfectly, so I was in no rush to upgrade. As I was making my trip to Walmart I passed by Verizon and thought "hmm why not stop in and see if they can fix my phone?" As I walked in I was greeted by Tristen. Hes a rather tall, goofy looking fellow, who at first glance I thought wasn't going to be much help. After sitting down and going over problem after problem, Tristen confidently and quickly fixed every concern of mine. After all of my issues were resolved I was ready to be on my way when Tristen let me know about my eligibility to upgrade and brought up the Pixel 3 XL. I am ecstatic with my new purchase and am so glad I made that stop today! I recommend this store and staff to anyone knowledgeable of technology or not! Tristen...
