Pawn1st — Local services in Goodyear

06/29/2017, I have been doing business with Pawn1 since 2014 .I have a title loan with them and went in today to refinance my loan on my Crown Victoria. Before I made this decision to refinance the loan I have talked to one of the young ladies in the loan department a couple times such a sweet young lady her name is Michelle and even on the phone she completely goes out of her way to help you with whatever your situation maybe at the moment. I mean she goes beyond her expectations to help her clients when most people do not .She doesn't sit there on the phone and just give you the runaround she gets things done by going above her position and so forth until she can help in some type of way .Well today I finally got the pleasure of meeting her in person .When you usually walk up to one of these places for your loan they look at you like oh God here goes more paperwork ,or now I have to listen to their problems. I was greeted with the biggest smile and bubbliness that I have not seen in a long time at a work environment .It's funny to say but I actually had a good time I didn't even want to leave ! she just makes you feel so comfortable the way she talks and laughs with you instead of ignoring you and she talks you all through the process instead of saying sign this sign that .And I'm not ashamed to say it I didn't have enough for the interest that I had to pay off on my loan to to refinance it .and Michelle worked it out to where it was like a courtesy gesture for me being with them awhile so she took care of it and I also left there with the movie call the innocent man. this young lady is just so sweet I feel like I knew her for a long time this place is very lucky to have her working there and she is just fantastic to deal with and be around .It's funny cuz it was such a pleasure and a lot of people just hate going to get this done cuz like I said at the beginning people isn't friendly no more and it was like I didn't even want to leave .And this sweetie even told me that if ever needed to talk to call her and she'll just talk to me because we're both like talking back and forth it was so cool. But seriously if anyone ever needs a title loan go in there and ask for Michelle she will make it one of the most easiest process and enjoyable experience that you probably ever had in quite a while .And as for myself i would like to tell her thank her very much and I appreciate everything that she did for me today after I left I just kept smiling I walked over to Goodwill over there I was even talking about her to everybody and writing her name down and giving it to people if they ever need a title loan to go to Pawn1 and ask for Michelle . Came in to pawn my 10k gold chain and the lady tested my chain with 14k testing chemicals, which by the way clearly states on the clasp “10k”. So first she proceeds to file the clasp and then does a magnetize test which obviously passes then goes back and puts chemicals for 14k and aggressively grinds the clasp repeatedly, and then sets it in murky water, then pulls it out and puts in on a napkin and says their not gonna accept it because it leaks blue dye and drops green on the napkin when its out the water. So they say they can’t accept it. They proceed to give the chain back damaged. I take it to another pawn shop and their shocked on the way the chain was tested after I explained it, they told me that the clasp is not supposed be filed or even be tested at that. Then they proceeded to test it and found it to be real which I already knew, they ran the chemical test on it but with the correct testing chemicals and verified it’s real, and said that this pawn shop I’m commenting on did not test the chain the right way and used the wrong chemicals, Luckily they were kind enough to clean and buff out the damage. I just moved back to the phoenix area about 6 weeks ago and was a bit straped for cash. As I was on my way to pick up some food I noticed the Pawn 1st sign and decided to pay them a visit. The second I walked into the very clean store I was greeted by a man named James and was asked if he cold help me in any way. I said yes and showed him a laptop I was willing to do without for now to get some bills paid. James looked up the value on the internet and showed me so it didnt seem like he was just throwing numbers out their to rip me off. He was kind , listened , took his time with me so I didnt feel rushed and answered any and all questions I threw at him. I have never recieved such great and professional service out of any store let alone a pawn shop. I will continue to do all my business with Pawn 1ST and Pawn 1st only.
