I haven't even ate yet and I already am EXTREMELY unimpressed. The person at the window HOLLARS out "can I help you!" She was not friendly what so ever especially considering we waited like 30 minutes just to place our order. Yelling at customers regarding their orders. Every time I asked something she responded by yelling at me!! I have severe sensory issues and she put me in TEARS. When I asked what they have to drink she yelled what's listed on the paper which is barely noticeable under the window. Simple customer service isn't that hard. If you notice a customer isn't impressed you find a way to make it impressive rather continuing to show horrid service and disorganization. So now I have gotten my food. Apparently the person running the window picks and chooses who she right out offers toppings and condiments for sandwiches to. I over hear her offer them to someone else after I ordered my sandwich. Then gave me an attitude when I asked about them so I said nevermind which is only onion and spear pickles...My son received 2 chicken strips. The bacon cheeseburger I ordered was nasty it tasted like one of the cheapest most unseasoned frozen patties I've ever tasted. It was dry no mayo, no lettuce, only mustard, ketchup and hot sauce offered. 🤢🤢🤢. I dont really like fish so I went there for my daughter honestly. She rounds prices up rather than charging exactly what she has listed for example the canned sodas we paid $1 for was listed $1+ tax which for 3 sodas would be 3.21 not 3.25 but regardless she then took my $10 and handed me back a $1 and 3 quarters. Only til I was on my way home did I realize she ripped me off. With the type of person she exhibited I believe it was intentional. Enter at your own risk. Kitchen workers look like addicts and you could see how FILTHY it was. Finger crossed we don't get food poison. Completely RUINED my road trip...

Paid $50 for food for my family. Hardly got any fish on plate. Just 2 tiny peices that were over cooked, the butterfly shrimp was decent sized but the fish Peices were small, bland & even pretty rubbery/chewy when we ate them.the mushrooms were undercooked and mushy on outside still. I personally don't feel like it was worth $11 a plate. The woman at the counter was rude. When my husband asked her for onions and pickles she gave him a weird look an asked him "why" he said to put on my bread and make a fish sandwich on my fish plates i just bought... she said then told him he had to pay for the pickles, as they "sell pickle spears" but the other times he had been there for lunch with coworkers he didn't have to ask, they included pickle SLICES & onion without even having to ask. He also asked for some ketchup, which she also questioned him about... he had to tell her that there wasn't any in the containers out there. When we went to leave i asked for a container to go and she handed me some aluminum foil instead... like yall are that cheap that you can't give me a container to secure all my food in so it doesn't get smashed & leak all over in the bag? I watched her give other people containers so I know they weren't out!

Buffalo fish is always an excellent choice. Always hot and fresh, never oily or overcooked. Catfish fritters are amazing too. I remember my parents taking us here when I was younger 15-20 years ago. Lady behind the window then was grouchy. I remember her slamming down the screen window after taking an order and thinking it was hilarious. Now that I'm an adult I find myself eating here 3-4 times during riding season. I get a kick out of the new gal behind the window, she's not mean she gets aggravated with how dumb some customers can be and it shows through from time to time. She's not yelling, she's speaking loud because exhaust fans in kitchens are LOUD. She's great! Don't change a thing. Let the legacy of good food and crabby window lady live on. Keep doing what you're doing, you have a life-time customer! If you want bland fish and no entertainment, go down the road to...
