I usually have shopped at AutoZone simply for the points you can accrue and turn into $$. I thought I needed an alternator for my 2016 F150 XL which is ridiculously expensive. Sky had ordered one for me. Literally the day I rolled into the parking lot, my truck died on the spot. Great timing! HaHa so when I walked in I was greeted by an older gentleman named Phil. He said, well before you spend all the $$ on the alternator, how old is your battery? I said it’s probably 4-5 yrs old. He said I bet it’s the battery and not the alternator. Let me come out and I will test the battery for you. Sure enough, he was correct. I’m not an auto guy so I’m always at the mercy of trying to get a honest and fair mechanic, which is like trying to find that in a politician lol. After Phil determined it was indeed the battery I blew a sigh of relief because how inexpensive it was compared to the dang alternator! When he rung me up, he asked Sky to help replace my battery, because Phil was now past the end of his shift. Sky immediately got the old one out and new one in. That really is a cool service having your battery changed for free! Anyways, I just wanted to thank Phil and Sky for not just being nice and friendly, but fair and honest with me. I will forever be an Advance Auto customer moving forward. Thank y’all for everything and truck is running great!!

Read moreThis was without a doubt the worst experience I have ever had. I went in to purchase windshield wipers. The parts person asked me the make model and year of my car. Total came to 57.63 for windshields wipers. The guy went out to install them totally did not know what he was doing and after 15 minutes decided he had pulled the "wrong" wipers. Went back inside supposedly to get the right ones and the passengers side hung over the windshield at least an inch and a half. I went inside to get someone to help him and the manager asked me if I was sure of the year if my car stating that "they" do not make mistakes and that I must have forgotten the year of my car. I then demanded a refund. I went up the street to ORiellys and got the windshield wipers for 16.00 and when I mentioned the trouble the manager of ORiellys asked if I had been to Autozone. Just so you know I threw my rewards card in the trash and WILL NEVER ENTER AN AUTO ZONE AGAIN. I made 3 trips there today because Shannon had made my day providing me with his expertise and knowledge of exactly what I needed. I had never met nor seen this man before today, but because of him, I will make this store my Advance Parts store FOREVER and will definitely tell others. I left there today, all 3 times, very satisfied and grateful that he was the one assisting me. We need more people like him. Truly a Godsend.
