I wish I could give negative stars. Only giving one star because I cannot rate any other way.
I've lived in Grand County for nearly 10 years and have been in this store many times for Verizon issues and have bought several Verizon phones from High Country Cellular. I ALWAYS walked out with issues resolved or new phone in hand. However, I have not been in the store since they moved locations and became an appliance and cellular store. Recently I went into High Country for a new phone. I was greeted at the door by Jason L. My first question to him was if they were still an authorized Verizon dealer. He answered yes, not only once but twice because I asked a second time just to make sure. We felt rushed and he wasn't very informative about much. I left there feeling unsure about my purchase. We got home to set up a new prepaid phone only to find out 3 hours later from Verizon customer service they are NO longer a Verizon Authorized dealer and the phone I bought was not for a Verizon network! He lied to my face!!!!! These guys are shady, and I will drive over the pass for a Verizon store. I will never step foot in this store again.

I am not a native speaker but I could understand very well what he was saying and pretty sure he understood as well, but instead of take the blame for not giving me the information I requested he blamed my level of english, that not just inappropiate behavi, but also kind of racist. I felt offended, frustraded and irritated about the way he led the situation. after a little discussion, He agreed that he forgot to mention extra fee for a service, but first he had to offend me. Read moreWent in to have my phone looked at since it hadn't been working for some time, already had the manufacturers suggestions and was seeking a second opinion. The phone still worked as a camera and music player, just no service. Guy takes my phone, says he will just update and reset it, shouldn't take more than half an hour. An hour and a half later, he hands me back my completely bricked phone, says it's my processor, and charges me $40. Thank you for nothing, you made me pay you for making my problem worse. This and past experiences leads me to believe that this store doesn't have a lot of options to actually help, I would have been better off just going to Device Doctors the first time.
