Grand Mountain Munchies — Restaurant in Granby

Had an amazing experience at this sandwich restaurant! We were a group of four and ordered two small subs and a tiramisu to share. Every bite was absolutely delicious! The Mexican torta was a standout – perfectly balanced flavors and so satisfying.

I had read in other reviews that some people found the bread too hard, but when we ordered, the owner made sure to ask if we wanted soft or hard bread. We chose the hard bread and loved the texture, but it’s great to know they offer the option for softer bread if you prefer it.

The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, making it a great spot to hang out and enjoy good food. To top it off, the owner was incredibly friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better.

Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for amazing sandwiches and great service. Can’t wait to come back...

Hey y’all, this is going to be a specific review because the others are too vague. The food is great here, IF you do not order the French Bread. Yes, per the other reviews the French Bread is way too hard and chewy, but not all the bread is that way. The hoagie roll is the choice to make. Only order the hoagie roll for the subs; it’s soft and tastes great. If you do want the French bread, dipping it in the soup is really good and helps soften it up. The soups are a little on the oily side, but you can drain that out. The soups are tastey though. I will say, the first time I had a cold sandwich which was good, but the second time I got it toasted, and added salt and pepper. That made a difference. First of all, the portions are massive! If you want bang for your buck, this is the place. The French bread was real, hearty and chewy like it should be. The tomato bisque had great texture and flavor, and could have been a hearty meal on its own. Plenty of meat on the sandwich, and the dressing added a nice tangy zing.
