Pearl Dragon Restaurant — Restaurant in Granby

We live south of Denver and drove alllll the way to Granby because this place is THAT good.

Service - We first had it 5 years ago, I called ahead to see what the wait time was as we had a party of 10. They said they could seat us now, I said okay thanks and hung up. There was no names given or confirmation, but when we arrived they had set a table apart for us - the service is EXCELLENT. Tonight we went again and I asked for extra sauce, she went out of her way to make sure I had plenty of sauce. For any sauce lovers out there - you know this is a big deal. Why do people hoard sauce when I ask? So weird. Pearl Dragon hooked me up!

Food - their food is DELICIOUS. Tonight it was different than we are used to because of takeout only, changes must be made given the circumstances - so we had a car picnic. The pineapple chicken is TO DIE FOR, and my kids love the lo mein.

We went out of our way to hit Granby today just for Pearl Dragon, it is absolutely delicious. I can't wait to actually go in and eat inside again, but amazing food and car picnics work...

Pearl Dragon makes the best chinese food in all Colorado. I have been to Chinatown in San Francisco, Shanghai, even Beijing, and I can safely say Pearl Dragon could outcook the best restaurants in the best places despite living in the small town of Granby. They have a dinner or lunch menu, and can spice things up if it's too mild with a generous scale 1-10 (#5 spicy is perfect for me). Try the beef Skewers for a truly unforgettable experience! I personally go for the Pork Fried Rice with #5 spice and I seldom have leftovers (soooo good!). To top things off the service is incredible. I moved away from Grand County roughly 3 years ago and Lin still remembers us anytime we come in! They're closed until the summer (reopen 2019 at a new location!) so if you're looking for the best food in the valley visit...

We got here at 730 pm on a Saturday night. We were able to park quickly.

We were able to get seated right away with our party split up into 2 tables.

The place was very busy and yet it was clean. The restrooms were clean and both the men's and women's restrooms has a single toilet.

Our drink order was taken in about 5 minutes of settling in. Within a few minutes, our drinks came and our orders were taken.

Our food came shortly. The calamari was a little bland. We ordered 7 main dishes. Soup came with each main dish. The food tasted ok. But the service was excellent! They were very attentive to our drinks and asks if we need anything else or if everything was ok.
