First off I want to start off with just saying that not all the employees that work for this small mom and pop store are not kind. One of the employees Dylan is a very intelligent guy, who is always eager to help us when we come in with any questions that we have, and does not make us feel like inconvenient at all. A couple of the ladies that work in there are very kind as well, and never act like we are bothering when we have any questions. We have definitely had a few very unpleasant encounters with a few employees that work there. Very rude behaviors and when in the wrong, donāt apologize until made a big deal. Walked in today with some products that I had previously purchased from another store and had already been using on my reptiles, I asked one of the employees Dylan what the appropriate amount was to give my reptiles and how many days of the week. he answered my questions very nicely and I went about my time there. I was waiting for the crickets that they went in the back to get it while waiting one of the employees came up to me asking if she could help with checking us out. She was talking about the items that I had brought into the store with me. She rudely had accused me of stealing the items when that store they do not even carry the items I brought in. I did not even get an apology until I called when I got home and asked if they had gotten a chance to check the cameras. Because she kept saying over and over Iām still going to check the cameras. Iām still going to check the cameras even after talking with the other employee that, I asked to help me when I first arrived to the store. It really upset me and made me very sad because we go in there almost every day and I felt very profiled and to even get an apology. I had to call and make a huge deal about it. They have an amazing supply of fish and even bigger ones so your bigger fish can have a companion. My pleco died and I have a big oscar. These guys are the only ones that I could find that had one big enough to go in my oscar tank. Even though it was a fish they took in and probably didnt pay for since most stores dont when taking something like that in I still paid the price because for me it was worth it except I thought it was a little high but still they had it and other large fish I could put in that tank. It's really cool to even just go look around in. Even though they have a small space they have the stuff others dont and better looking stuff. The pet supplies in general are very well priced and a little cheaper than petsmart and petco on some of it and comparable in others. I have yet to see them more expensive. I am mocking a star of because of the employees. I would give it 5 stars but there is one person in there that does not look like customer service. That one person has nothing near a professional look. And then there is a bigger person in there that got mad because my 5 year old brushed up against them when picking out the fish he wanted. He barely touched them and they really didnt like it so if you have kids not the best person to work with because we all know kids in this aspect. Other than that it is a great store and I'll be back but I will ask for someone else to help me if either if these two show up to help. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI normally don't like writing negative reviews but I'm bummed about my continued subpar to bad experiences. I've been coming here for years. Pros - their fish have always been great. Never have had a problem with that. Cons - customer service is hit or miss. Most of the time the employees are just sitting behind the counter and I have to ask to get help - disgruntled attitudes sometimes. I have had a few great employee experiences (hats off to them) but mostly it has been pretty bad. Latest incident, I specifically told the employee (he was nice so thank you) getting my fish that I want to make sure not to get any shrimp as I don't want to mess up my already existing shrimps' bloodline. I said this 2 times! Well, I got home and there are 3 shrimp in the bag with fish. I have no idea what to do with them. I can't put them in my tank, I don't want to kill them, and I live too far away to take back and take time off work to do so. Not the end of the world, but the bad experiences have far outweighed the good. Plus I asked twice to please make sure that didn't happen.
