I usually shop at the cirilla's by where I live, but they were out of the item I was there for, so they called the store on Plainfield to see if they maybe had it in stock. They were very friendly and helpful as they didn't have the exact brand but had the same type of cream available by another brand, and it was their last bottle, so they held it for me. I was omw when I ran out of gas. Luckily, someone with a gas can let me have the little bit of gas they had, and I made it to the store at 9:59. They had just locked up because they had no one for the last hr, and by then, they assumed maybe I changed my mind. But even after they had already locked up and were ready to go home, the person working opened the doors and let me make my purchase. I had driven a 45-minute to get! They were so awesome for doing that 👏 and I really appreciate you whom I won't name . We need more beautiful souls like that, and we're there!

During my most recent visit however, the woman working that night was extremely rude and invasive, making inappropriate comments about my age based on my ID, inserting herself into my business after I politely declined her offer of help because I "looked confused", making off-base assumptions about what I'm looking for and what I would enjoy, behaving with a condescending attitude as if I must not know what Im looking for due to my age, making gender assumptions of my partner that are harmful to the LGBTQ community, and also badgered and openly complained to me about my purchase being too small / not enough. Read moreThey didn't remove the security tag from my item so I had to bring it back to have it removed. That alone was annoying. But while I was there the guy working commented that it was good I had my receipt or they would have confiscated the item. They forget to remove the tag. I worry what would happen to someone who lost their receipt, or never received one. Would be out of luck, due to their own error. I paid for the item. If I brought it back to have the tag removed and they tried to confiscate it, that would be stealing.
