ALDI — Local services in Grand Rapids

I love Aldi! I've been shopping there for over 10 years now (I know, right?!) and they have really come a long way over the years. They are a great way to save money on your everyday staple items (breads, cereal, milk, cheese, condiments and snacks etc.) and Aldi has always had a good freezer section but they've added a nice produce and fresh meats area as well. They are keeping up with the times too offering some healthier alternative foods such as organic and gluten-free options. I still shop sale items especially name brand products from our big grocery stores occasionally but Aldi is our "Staple". One tip I would like to add though, I almost never buy name brand products from Aldi because I feel the are usually marked up a bit or you can find them elsewhere on...

I shop here quite often but today was a horrendous experience. I placed a pick up order the previous day for a 10-11 am time slot. I arrived just before 10 and had a notice “ no shopper was available “. I went inside and asked if I could pick the order myself and was told yes but my I would need to pay again and wait for a credit. Frustrating but understandable. I asked if I could pick it myself and then have them verify it and was told , “no”. I said I would wait in the parking or for my order. Employees came out a knocked on my window and told me my order won’t be done until noon. Why have appointment ? I hope your management reads reviews and uses this as a training opportunity, because I’ve been very loyal to this location but will be very hard pressed...

Charged my card twice and wouldn’t refund me. My online bank app showed the two charges and even after seeing that the manger refused to refund the double charge. The transaction approved the first time and the kiosk told me to remove the card and then the cashier told me I had to swipe again. I told her it said ‘approved’ and I don’t want to be charged twice and she assured me that wouldn’t be the case and even if it happened the manager would refund it.
