I ordered a Mother's Day bouquet from this place for the first time. I am very disappointed by what was delivered to my mother in law. I have pictures of what was delivered in comparison to what I ordered and one can see that there aren't as many flowers in the visibly smaller vase than shown on the picture that's on the website. It looks like a lot of greenery (leaves) were used to make up for the less volume of flowers. I specifically called twice to ask whether the deliveries look as close to the pictures as possible and was informed that they always try to do their best to make sure of that. I'm sorry but I'm very unhappy and had decided not to use this florist again. I did write a review as soon as I saw the flowers. A few days later, I called and spoke to Lauren, explaining why I was disappointed. She asked me to send an email with the two pictures side by side and I did so. Lauren promptly called me, and to make a long story short, she and her manager rectified the issue. I'm impressed by how Lauren handled the situation, how professional she was and I do believe she absolutely changed my opinion of the company. I'll most definitely use them again. New to Grand Rapids, I found this little gem while out and about exploring. I have been there twice and found that the shop is transformed with the changing holidays/seasons and there are always new items. The staff I have met, Joyce, Lea, and Jenn were friendly and welcoming. Though I haven't purchased any arrangements, I have seen some of the creative artful designs being created in the back. The shop has a relaxed almost zen feeling with the water fountain flowing and all the fauna. The gift shop is eclectic and hip. I have found special items for friends and myself. They have complimentary gift wrapping. Even non gift items are placed in an attractive bag with tissue and ribbon. They make their customers feel special. I live in Florida and ordering from a florist with no previous knowledge was scary. I needed something custom made for a friend who was getting married the following day. I was greeted over the phone with such kindness and patience. Kim made me feel like a valued customer and took such detailed notes of my needs, including my request to send pictures of my friend that was getting married, the decor and her house, the bouquet she would be carrying, etc. All of this was just to give the Florist an idea of how I perceived my friend would like this floral arrangement in her house. I could not believe that I was getting a custom-made arrangement at the last minute. I even asked them to send me a picture via text when it was done. This Florist went above, and beyond anything I ever expected. The arrangement was just as I had asked. Incredibly creative and artistic. It was a masterpiece and one of a kind.
