Horrible customer service. What makes it worse is I placed my order via online picked it up thru the drive thru which I waited about 20minutes. Way too long. Then she handed me my bad sent me in my way I said oh wait I had a meal with a pop and chips. So not only did they almost forget my sides, they didn’t toast my sub which is specified on the receipt. I simply asked for it to be corrected, and or a refund. She (the manager) told me i would need to come in for a return and or for her to help get in contact with customer service. I repeated to her that I had knee surgery and it’s hard for me to get in and out for the car, hence why I ordered via online and went thru the drive thru. I simply asked for a number to call and complain. She refused and said she would call the cops but idk why smh So I sat there looking for a number which I never got because no where on google gave me a number to corporate or a higher person involved. It’s just sad that she was the only person there to help and she refused to give me simple information. She wouldn’t even give me her name, the phone number or an email address to get further help. I will not go back to the is location and I hope you don’t either. She needs a lesson or you’ll get one because I’m sure her job gets to her head every time. It’s not even that serious. Just wanted a number to someone...
Read moreHorrible manager and customer service. Attempted to get a refill with my own subway cup was charged a full $2.00 for it. She the manager Tena Vandam didn't tell us till after already charged for it. I wouldn't have got a soda refill had I known that. And $2.00 plus tax for a refill with my own cup. Additionally when she made my sandwich she put gloves on but didn't bother washing her hands as required by health dept. And the serv safe certificate on the wall is expired. Obviously the workers or at least the manager needs to take health dept clases and customer service classes again. Excuse is no refill buttons so no one can buy a refill or even a cup. $2.00 for a freaking refill. All other subways in Grand Rapids and Wyoming honor refills (except Subway in Walmart on Alpine - that one only while you are in store can you buy a refill and has to be same cup from 30 minutes ago). The other Subways in Gr and Wyoming honor refills with Subway cups. NOT HERE. $2.00 for a refill, if you bring a Subway cup. you will be charged $2.00 for a refill and all you will get is an empty cup to go along with the cup you refilled after the fact you are told refills are $2.00. This is b.s. The owners of this store are Robin and Heidi. We can be contacted at 228-2121Please do not patronize this type of service. Here on the Westside we expect better...
Read moreThough I've had good experiences previously with this Subway location, tonight wasn't so good. First, the cheesy garlic bread they offered caused confusion for people in my party with me, since the cheesy garluc bread is actually NOT a type if bread they offer to put a sandwhich on, but rather a type of sauce, basically. Therefore, it should be called as such. Second, the first server walked off to do other work while in the middle of making my sandwhich, and forgot to put any meatballs on my meatball marinara sandwhich at all. So, I had to tell this to the next worker there, as he seemed ready to continue where the other worker left off without doing so. And, finally, the meat for the meatballs was a bit on the tough side. Perhaps it might be because ordinarily, those get put on a meatball sandwhich BEFORE it goes in the toaster machine, not afterward. Also, it was a bit hard for me and the others in my party to even hear the server as she spoke due to a combination of background noise in the store, and her not speaking up a bit more louder. Point is, I've had many a better experience as a customer with Subway in other lications, and even better experiences at this same location than I did tonight. So, one star is all I feel they deserved for such lackluster service and quality they served up...
