Twisters Ice Cream — Restaurant in Grand Rapids

Stopped by yesterday after a #PureMichigan day at the nearby zoo.

Stood in line and had our chance to put in our order. We ordered 4 items and asked the person taking orders if she got all 4. She confirmed she got all 4 items ordered. We didn't get a receipt either. Not even given the option of one.

Then we stood in a second long line waiting for our order to get ready. Was surprised they didn't fill orders in the order placed.

We got 3 of our 4 items. We stood at the window trying to ask only to be ignored and brushed off. I totally get being busy. Everyone wanted ice cream just like we did on such a beautiful day. I don't get being ignored and brushed off. I tapped on the window with the same results. I tried saying something when they opened the window to give someone else their order only to have it repeatedly slammed in my face.

We had to drop someone off by 3:45 and had to leave without getting our 4th of 4 items in our order.

I get being busy but don't get bad customer service at the same time. No room for poor excuses taking care of your customers.

The ice cream was nice and refreshing for those who got it. We'll still come back but will be on guard for poor service and demand money getting refunded or fight the charge with the credit card company if they want to continue doing this.

I go to Twisters on a weekly basis and I've never had a problem until today. I ordered a Baby Twist in a cup, a Small Chocolate cone, a Small Jamocha malt and a Small Strawberry shake. I pull up to the window and the guy dryly says "9.09 please." Then he just hands me my card without asking if I want a receipt. I get the small Chocolate cone. Everythings okay. I get the twist and the girl handing it out says SMALL twist in a cup. I ordered a baby twist. SO, when the next girl hands me the shake and the malt I said "I ordered a baby, not a small. The girl says "we can make it smaller". As I'm saying this I was handing my malt to my sister and the lid came off and spilled everywhere. The girl is just standing there not saying anything. My sister asked for some napkins and a new lid. The girl COMPLETELY Ignored her and closed the window and just stood there and pretended we weren't there. They just lost 2 VERY...

Usually awesome service from awesome employees providing excellent product. I love the chocolate flurry with peanut butter cup. The girl always gets the hot fudge sundae with whipped cream, peanuts and a cherry on top. You substitute pecans for a nominal amount. Good times. Edit, today I ordered my usual order and the people in the store gave me vanilla. When I told them that it was not what I ordered they argued with me and said their "machine" said that was what I ordered. This is the second time they have screwed up my order and accused me of ordering something I didn't want. Not cool. I'll be going to Dairy Queen for the rest of the season I think.
