Rob's is indeed a cute & friendly store, and Rob (I assume that's his name) is personable. I've long been saying that this area needs a record store and I started shopping at Rob's last year, when it opened. But Rob's prices are, as the kids say, off the chain. The records I last bought there in November 2022 were marked at over twice Discogs' maximum value. While I'm sure that rents are high in Great Barrington and that everything is overpriced, including the Swedish fish and Mallo Bars next door, the prices at Rob's have gone high enough that I probably won't return...

Never submitted a google review before, but this place is such a gem I had to. Despite having been to numerous record stores, the atmosphere, layout, pricing, and selection offered at this one can't be topped. Rob's an absolute pleasure to chat with, wants simply to spread love and positivity through music.
