PLEASE READ BEFORE DOING BUSINESS WOTH EKLUNDS: Horrible service and completely incompetent installation crew. The kids that showed up to hook up my new gas stove had absolutely no idea what they were doing. Trying to screw a male threaded fitting into a gas pipe with no internal threads. Said the hose didn’t fit my pipe so there was nothing they could do. They left the stove sitting in the middle of my kitchen floor. Also said that this was only the 2nd gas stove he’d ever installed and they had this problem before but the person who trained him fixed it because he “knew what he was doing.” So I drive 45 minutes to Home Depot and got the correct size hose from them in 5 minutes. Called the Eklunds store and spoke to Bruce- he was zero help and was nothing but arrogant in the phone. As I was trying to explain what happened, he interrupted me and said, “I told the owner we shouldn’t install gas stoves anymore.” I told him I didn’t care about what internal strife they were having regarding whether or not to continue installing gas stoves, I only cared what I paid them for and what they told me they would do. And might I add, they tacked on $150+ for delivery and installation plus $32 for the incorrect hose and fittings. Too bad for Eklunds, I guess they’re relying too much on their reputation of days past because the service I received absolutely sucked and the salesman BRUCE was a total jerk when I called the store. I will never do business with Eklunds again and will go out of my way to prevent my friends and clients from making the same mistake. Having incompetent staff and rude, cocky salespeople will be their demise. Do yourself a favor and buy your appliances from Home Depot, Lowe’s or anywhere else where the employees are courteous and...
Read moreThe purchase went very well.....BUT after that the wheels fell off. The delivery gentleman did an excellent job, the sales people didn't care once the sale was made. We gave them phone numbers to call 3 time's but they just call the home number, not the cell number and than stop by and get upset that no one is here. One of the purchases out of 4 appliances was one they took back they stated that they would clean it like new and deliver it later......instead they delivered it dirty and said they did what they could.

Today's dealing with an owner, left me feeling disgusted and vile for walking into his store. He only pushed his preferences and availability onto me. When I wanted other options he told me to go to somewhere else and order what I want. So I did. Not only did he push a sale out there door, but most likely a repeat customer. Mind you the appliances I wanted are UPGRADES not a need today, so his get this or else mentality left him with less business and and sour taste in my mouth.
