A & K Diner — Restaurant in Great Falls

We walked in and on the front door was a sign that said they were short staffed and they apologized for the inconvenience, but to please be KIND!

Immediately in mind I am looking for opportunities to be kind! We were greeted immediately and our server looked overwhelmed but with a smile she asked how we were doing and if she could get us anything else to drink, we both opted in for coffee, she came back immediately on the way back to the kitchen she loaded up a table to take to the kitchen. She be-bopped in and out of tables filling coffee , clearing tables, resetting tables, taking orders, filling water answering questions, needless to say she didn’t stop I watched in admiration as I too have been there! She had a couple other gals doing the same! They worked seamlessly TOGETHER! Our order was taken fast, our food came so fast and it was absolutely DELICIOUS. We had the sweetest couple next to us and we felt compelled to pay it forward, so we bought their breakfast, our waitress helped us surprise them! We hugged and shared a little about our stories. We had a moment! That’s what makes life great. Good ole fashioned restaurants with the good stuff as their baseline! A community! I will never go anywhere else when I visit! I no longer recommend this restaurant. I'm appaled with how I was just treated. I have patroned this restaurant since day 1 prior to them changing their name and move. The waitress was horrible. My omelet wasn't cooked like I asked. I asked for my vegetables to be coked EXTRA WELL DONE due to a digestive medical reason. which I didn't need to explain when ordering but did for courtesy for my request.

my omelet didn't come back with cooked vegetables or extra cheese. The waitress took off while I was still trying to talk so as I went by the kitchen she is yelling about me saying she wished I wouldn't come here anymore!

really unnaceptable. The owner is a wonderful woman who me and my little allora love. however her employee she is choosing to employ is the most rude and disrespectful person I've met.

Asked to speak to the manager/owner and was told No. Well We will never be back now. and lost us as devoted customers. Great humans you are. I would never talk about people like that.

Honestly, a gem of a spot!

I won’t lie when I say I wasn’t expecting much when it came to the Korean food because this isn’t exactly a k-town or a hub for well known Korean spots. But to my surprise, the Korean food was delicious and seasoned very nicely! My family ordered the bibimbap, kimchi stew, and bulgogi- everything was so flavorful and tastes just like how my grandma would make it!! The side dishes were also great, the cucumber kimchi was definitely a hit! The servers were really sweet and the diner had a very nice, chill, home-y atmosphere. My little sister ordered a burger which tasted really fresh and good too!

Would 10/10 recommend to try this spot if you’re craving authentic, delicious Korean food!

Extra: I’m also a real stickler when it comes to restaurant bathrooms- the bathroom was really clean!
