Second update: although Shauna tried to make things right, the bowling alley was once again a let down. I used the free game they gave us to make up for the bad experience I previously had and it was another bad experience. My family and I went recently and they put us at a lane that didn’t have bumpers. I asked for bumpers because I have 2 small children and they said the bumpers on our lane didn’t work and just told us to use a ramp. So it was not fun for them since they couldn’t hit anything even with the ramp since the balls never went straight. Plus they were out of a lot of food and drinks. It was just another bad experience. I’ll stick to other bowling alleys from now on. I used to go to this place a lot and had great experiences but it’s gone downhill over the past few years.

Update: I spoke with Shauna and she was very friendly and empathetic to the situation. She was able to make me feel a little better about what happened at my son’s birthday. Nothing can change the stress that day brought but at least they attempted to make it right.

I recently had my son’s birthday party here and it was probably one of the worst birthday party experiences I’ve had. For one I have no idea who my host was, there were different people that brought food to us. Two, we had to go to the bar area to ask for plates after the “host” didn’t bring any for over 20 minutes. Three, we added on a game of laser tag and we had to search for someone to start the game. Once we found the girl she was very rude to the kids and stormed off once the game started. And lastly, the workers were just not friendly.

It wasn’t very busy that night so I don’t understand why we were ignored the entire time. I also don’t feel like the automatic gratuity was deserved since we hardly received any “service” during the party. For the price I paid I expect way better service. Paying over $400 to be ignored and for the kids to be mistreated was absolutely NOT worth it.

I will not be going back for birthday parties...

I am extremely disappointed with Chippers Lanes. I had my son’s 5th birthday party here and it was very subpar at best. We paid for the Ultimate Bash which is the most expensive party package available which is supposed to include a party host and our “Host” was nonexistent the entire party. Our laser tag ended and no one was even there to give our final scores or exit the area. Extremely unprofessional in my opinion. And we never got the “Party Surprise” that was supposed to be included. The arcade games are terrible and very limited and very expensive I might add, over $1.50 per game. Also the “XL Pizza” included in the package is a joke. It was a tiny pizza and wouldn’t feed 12 kids in any capacity. I paid a $75 deposit to book the party and that was NOT returned and I was not told that the deposit wouldn’t be returned or absorbed into the party price. Had I known I would’ve gone elsewhere. We paid $75 on top of the over $300 Bill. I am NOT happy at all. And in previous comments the owner mentioned that you guys are the cheapest and best deal in the area. I found places that offered way more for less! (I did not choose this location or I would’ve went to those places instead, My father chose Chippers) I will not be recommending this place to anyone in the future. If I could give zero stars I would. The only reason I didn’t make a scene and ask for a full refund was because my 5 year old did have fun and that’s all that matters in the end. But I definitely would not recommend booking a party here. And definitely read the reviews before you book here!!! I wish I had, I would’ve saved my father...

I had never bowled here before this experience, and I can honestly say that I more than likely will not be going back. I was looking for somewhere to join a league, and back in early November i saw they were advertising for leagues to start in January. They offered a single player league which was perfect for me. I emailed the league director, Jenna, 5-7 from November to January 3rd asking and double checking that the league was going to happen. It was supposed to start on Friday January 10th @ 5:30 pm. I showed up early to be sure i was all set up and not late. All there was there were about 5 employees and 3 customers, all drinking alcohol and playing pool…the customers, not the employees. As soon as jenna got there i went up to her, not her coming up to me, and she let me know that I was the only person they had for the league!!!! WHAT!!!!!! They didn’t apologize, just said I could have some games for the price i was gonna pay? The thing that pisses me off the most, is i got these nights off of work for 2 months because I was told there were league’s!!! On top of everything, the prices for EVERYTHING were OUTRAGEOUS!!!!! $30 for a pizza, $14 for a side of onion rings? Needless to say I didn’t order anything. All i got was a Dr Pepper out the machine, which was expired in 2021 👀👀👀 it was one thing after another here? This place is like a carnival inside. No theme. Everything just doesn’t go together. Oh yeah….while i was bowling, I guess they tried to do a “midnight bowling” thing by turning the lights off and turning on a few lasers. I couldn’t see the lane AT ALL. Worst...

Okay, so bowling was fun, and the bands that played were great when our group went. HOWEVER, there currently is a promotion for if you bowl a turkey (3 strikes in a row) you win a free turkey for thanksgiving. I did this and went to go talk to a staff member about claiming my coupon for my turkey. after a while we got it all figured out and they came to my lane and gave me my coupon and took a picture (all pretty normal right now, right?) they also gave me a turkey hat to wear for the picture and said i could keep it. about 15 minutes later they took the hat and said that i wasnt able to keep it. (not that big of a deal, the hat was cool though and i wouldve loves to keep it). Now this is the part that irritated me, making me only give 2 stars. The coupon for the turkey they gave me expired in April of 2022. OVER A YEAR AGO!!!! if youre going to run a promotion like this please actually do it right and make sure your staff knows about it (i had to ask 4 different people how to claim my turkey)

Our most recent visit was Saturday 4/26. The 2 younger people working at the desk were so kind and helpful getting us setup with bowling and laser tag for my son's friend group. The food was super disappointing this time. Our pizza dough was raw, so we mentioned it to the person working at the bar and he offered to put it back in for a little bit, but said it couldn't be long because the toppings would burn. I'm not sure how long it went back in for, but it was still raw when it came out the second time. I ate a piece that didn't seem as bad as it was the first time, but we had leftovers and took them home and when we pulled it apart at home we realized how raw it actually was. The whole inner part was just raw dough. I should have pushed for getting a new pizza instead of it going back in for a few more minutes.

Came here for a birthday party, we hosted and the crew at the front were excellent! They were kind and understanding of all of the shoes we needed. This is the only reason for the two stars. We ordered fries which were 6$ and two pitchers of soda which were $8.95. $8.95 for not even a whole two liters of soda per pitcher. Not only this but the employees at the bar are incredibly rude. We asked for ketchup and they made it seem like the biggest inconvenience, even though they had 2 people at the bar. Seems like they are only decent when they think they’re getting a tip out of it. The new expansions are great except the cost an arm and a leg (laser tag AND the arcade) Overall we’d rather drive 20 minutes to the Summit or anywhere else for that matter. I suggest you do too.
