Very clean and well-organized. The employees are friendly and helpful, and there’s always a holiday display up front (holiday items marked with blue tags).
The problem is the prices. Ordinary items are marked far too high, just like most other Goodwill stores. For example, the “color of the week” sales are undermined because staff pull many of those items off the floor. A newer “half-off” section exists, but the quality there is poor.
Case in point: the pillow in the photo is priced at $12.99. Outrageous, considering these items are donated for free. Goodwill was meant to serve the community, but it’s clear profit has taken center stage. This is no longer a company “for the people” when the CEO is a millionaire while shoppers are expected to pay near-retail for secondhand goods.
Goodwill has turned into nothing more than a profit machine, and the greed shows in every price tag.

Read moreWe recently visited Goodwill and was surprised to learn that customers are not allowed to try on any of the clothing in-store. To make matters worse, if you buy something and it doesn't fit, you're only given store credit instead of getting your money back. This policy feels very unfair, especially when you're spending money on donated items. It's inconvenient and frustrating for customers who are trying to shop on a budget but may end up with clothing that doesn't work for them. I hope Goodwill reconsiders these policies to provide a better shopping experience, specially for seniors who...
Read moreTo be fair the employees are great. The prices have gotten a bit ridiculous. As someone who used to donate pretty routinely and shop there as well. If I donate a pair of used Nike shoes I don’t expect to see them in the store for $30+ that’s not what it’s about. You really need to make set prices regardless of brand (Condition is a whole different story)! I’ve also seen a list of items to be pulled and not even be stocked in store and just be put online. Do better...
