Every time I go in there, I'm followed by the the owner, the old man with glasses. Tonight was the worst. I went in an hour before close. Because I realized they were having the 40% off sale, so I wanted to grab a few things for the winter for my kids every aisle. I was on somebody was right there behind me And the aisle, I was on, they kept going past it started getting annoying. I had a few things in my hand to purchase. But I felt uneasy, so I put everything back except for an outfit it was a 3 piece set I went to go check out. The old man I looked at each individual piece made sure it went together and then didn't give me the 40% off discount. I proceeded to tell him he didn't say anything to me, but I did it rudely told me my total and I want to hand me my receipt, and it pretty much tossed it at me. I'd rather go to fort.Collins never had a horrible experience there.Even when I brought my children, I refuse to bring my children to the greeley, one because my autistic son is loud and I get met with dirty looks, and when I followed, I get anxious, then it just makes...
Read moreReally zero stars.. I have come to this store a lot over the years, both to buy and sell kid's stuff. Today was my last trip. I went in with a small laundry basket FULL of very nice, some new, clean and folded clothing..including a BRAND NEW pair of SpongeBob slippers. The older man in the glasses was quite rude from the beginning, he saw me come in with the basket, but waited awhile to say anything. Then rolled his eyes as he told me to fill out the form. The lady who helped was nice, she stated she would call in about 45mins. When I went back see what they purchased, the older man slammed a box on the counter, containing 8 pieces of clothing (all of which were Old Navy shirts or shorts/pants) and says he can give me $10 for those items, the rest they can't buy. It seems this place is trying to buy only top brand names now?! In the past, I have been able to sell almost all of the items I bring in, today was such a a joke!! I will not be going back, to buy or sell. The man in the glasses needs lessons in...
Read moreI really enjoyed shopping at these stores. You can find some great stuff for a fraction of the price of brand new kids stuff that they’ll just grow out of in a week. However, please note that they give the batteries from toys back to you when you take toys in to sell to them! They failed to tell me this and my one year old got a hold of them when he went snooping into what I thought was an empty returned bag. So dangerous!
Update - I took in a box of toys and clothes and expected to donate what they didn’t want to keep, as I have done many times. This time they told called after I had left the store and said they no longer accept toys and would just throw them away if I don’t come get them. Wouldn’t that be something you’d want to tell me when I drop the box off? I live thirty minutes away, it’s not easy to make two trips out there in one day. Every time I go in now I feel like there’s some new scheme to give less money for trades and keep more stuff for free. I don’t know, I just don’t think I’ll shop...
