We've been eating here for years, but more regularly recently and I wanted to address two of the negative reviews I saw and our opposite experience.
Lukewarm food being microwaved: Normally, our food is served very warm, just on the edge of too hot. Because of this, when our food arrived at a cooler temperature during our last visit, we mentioned it to the waitress. She immediately offered to have the plates remade and assured us it was no trouble. The food came out again fresh, hot, and quickly.
Varying spice level of familiar dishes: We love the Sesame Chicken and have ordered it a dozen times across the last year. The waitress warned us that seasonally the spice level of the peppers they cook with changes. Some batches are more mild than others. We always specify the spice level and they adjust. If it's too mild, just ask and they'll bring you a side of spicy pepper oil.
Aside from that the staff is always friendly and...
Read moreI come to you today with story of redemption (see below for last review). Our kiddo was little under the weather last weekend and wanted egg drop soup so we decided to grab some from here on our way home. I'm pleased to say that the egg drop as well as the hot and spicy we're delicious!!! Like, really good! So, we decided we'd do dinner to see how it held up. It was so good. The pork fried wontons are even better then before. We will be back.
I'm so sad that the new owners changed so much. As loyal patrons we were told that the food would remain the same and that simply isn't true. What was once the best Chinese food in Greeley has now become an extremely overpriced dollar-fifty-scoop type restaurant. The egg drop soup feels like egg whites, and not the cooked kind, the hot and sour was so greasy it made me yucky. Every bit of food we got was terrible. I'm sorry to say that I will not be...
Read moreI rarely review places but, they really deserve it. We came today for lunch. We were seated right away. I got the orange chicken and my fiancé got sesame chicken. The soup was great and so was the crab wontons. When we got our food, I tried it and I forgot to tell them no spicy. I really can’t handle spicy. I felt so bad to them and make them waste food like that. So then I decided to tell her that I can’t handle spicy but, we’re willing to pay for the extra meal because that was our fault. She went to the kitchen and told them to make me a new one not spicy. She came back to the table and said “Don’t worry! I will make you a new one and you don’t need to pay for it. Take it home and have your fiancé enjoy it.” It was so nice of them to do that and the fact that they allowed us to take it. Thank you so much for your understanding and kindness and we will...
