Butters Breakfast & Lunch — Restaurant in Greeley

So I come here around every single day almost 20$-30$ per day. I order the same thing, all I ask for w/my meal is hot fresh home potatoes and a side of ketchup. (No one checks on me cause I'm very simple until I get my check) In which on my last trip was awful, I didn't care tho cause I had work soon. So I told the server it's okay I'll take em, I then proceeded to pay my check as usual. The manager comes by opening with "what's wrong now? You always complain about the food and we always have to comp or discount you" I was in shock like "when? I have all my records, this is my first interaction with you the ghostly manager? And not once have i ever been comped or discounted! They should know if they are professionals they are supposed to have record. Which she doesn't. This was my first interaction with this manager, so apparently me asking for fresh hot potatoes when I order my food is complaining in their eyes. Sad to see a server think that's complaining. I pay my full tab every trip, I also tip over 20% every trip. The one time I didn't was when I went with my partner n the old little Hispanic server charged us for extra stuff we never got. We didn't say anything cause it was like 7$. So we left it. As someone who works in a restaurant and as a server in a very high volume one, this was so unprofessional! There was no customer service at all! Makes me regret the 1000s I've spent here coming here everyday. I will be taking this higher up to inform them of the terrible management they have. I know the 19yr old "manager" only has that job due to connections in family. Otherwise no one would make such a mistake. I will be making a social media post on this and will be reviewing this elsewhere. That was insane to accuse me of that and we've never spoken before or ever "discounted" me before. Maybe talk to your customers before going off what your server said. Even if I were to try to complain that day, what's one complaint in the 6 months I've been there almost every day? I saw their other reviews, sadly I'm not surprised to see what they had to say about...

I would not recommend the Greeley location. Even though they are advertising "new location and remodeled", this place was disgusting! I should have walked out as the dining room was so dirty, I began to wonder what the kitchen/prep area might look like.

The wait staff never bothered to pick up and discard a napkin that was used to clean our table even though they visited the table 4 times (once to take the order, deliver the food, once to refill coffee after having to ask, and lastly to bring the check).

The floor around and under the table, as well as what I observed while leaving, including the host station was just as bad, if not worse, than what can be seen in the pictures attached. Had I noticed how dirty the dining room was before being seated, I would have left.

The service from the time I entered to the time I left was poor. I was in a party of two and was told it would be a 10-15 minute wait. After waiting 20+ minutes and having observed that two parties of 3 individuals each were seated before us, I inquired about our placement on the list. I was told that they had to wait until a table for 2 was available as they could not seat a party of 2 at a larger table. I am in my 60's and this is the first time I have ever heard of such a policy. Once I was seated, had requested that our party of 2 be seated in the next available location regardless of table size, the waitstaff only stayed long enough to take the order and return with the bill. The busser brought out the food and upon request refilled the coffee.

Until management changes and/or the owners demand that their employees are trained appropriately, I will not recommend or return to...

I took my friend here for breakfast as it's one of only two places here in Greeley I like to spend money on food at. They have great skillets and amazing bloody Marys. Well I def will not be returning after today. First they bring me a bloody Mary that tasted like pure pepper (I always ask for extra tomato juice on the side so I can tweek it to my liking ANYWHERE) even adding extra juice didn't help. It tasted like pepper and made my mouth chalky , I asked to have it remade and she said that it's a premade mix, which I know they didn't do before and that's why I liked theirs, I suggested they throw that batch out. STRIKE 1. Then we order food and it takes 45 minutes to get to us STRIKE 2. I ordered over easy eggs and got eggs that were so over cooked they could have passed for hard boiled, my skillet was completely burned and inedible. STRIKE 3 but I figured I'd keep my opinion to myself and just munch while my friend ate.... They soon tell me their eggs are the same as mine WAY over cooked and their chicken fried steak was only able to be eaten cause the gravy gave it some kind of juice and it made it chewable STRIKE 4. The only good thing about this place today was the poor and only waitress who was running around like a chicken without it's head because no one was helping her. Had it not been for my friend I would have not paid the bill asked for a manager and left. ... I guess I'll just stick to IHOP , which sucks because I thought I had found an alternative place to eat that was decent here in this sad...
