Quilt a Bit — Local services in Greenacres

Store was very clean and organized but for some reason when we walked in we got no greeting or offered any help and there were no other customers in the store with about 4 employees working, the next person walks in and they immediately get greeted and offered help. Our first time in this store looking for another wholesale fabric store to support our small business and I was not impressed with the service, we will take our business elsewhere. The selection seemed decent but to me service is everything. We usually buy over $1000 weekly on fabric and we needed a place close to home with large selection and good service. Oh my goodness - the first time I walked into Quilt a Bit I thought I died and went to heaven. The fabric choices they have - you want it ALL. They have sew in's on certain days where you can go in and sew all day for just $ 10 and they are there to help you. Being new to quilting I can use all the help I can get. This was my first time visiting this store. I’m new to sewing in general. I was looking for fabric for making clothes, unfortunately they don’t carry it. However, this is a quilters paradise! Lots of variety in cotton fabrics. Classes are also offered. Prices are higher than Micheal’s or Hobby Lobby, but I would say the fabrics are worth the price. I look forward to becoming a...
