CocoCabana Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Greenacres

My husband and I were in the mood for a Spanish restaurant and decided to dine in to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Open arriving at the parking lot and seeing how deserted the place was, I had a feeling in my gut we had chosen the wrong spot. Came in and we're sat right away. There was only another couple dining in at that time, on a Saturday at 6:30pm. Against my better judgement, we sat down and browsed the menu. We decided to order and make the best of our evening. The menu had several dishes that didn't sound like a bad idea. Service was great but then again, it was just us. Lol. We dined in for approximately an hour and within that time, another couple came in. Appetizers and courses came out very quickly. We had the yuca empanadas for our appetizer. They were really greasy but not horrible. For our main course, I had the mofongo stuffed with churrasco and a side of tostones, my husband had the fried pork chunks with white rice and red beans. My churrasco was a bit fatty and chewy and the mofongo was on the dryer side. We both ordered cocktails, they were both very heavy on the alcohol but not too bad. I'm almost certain we will not be visiting again but I'm glad we checked them off...

I was their for the third time and every Christmas party their when my cuzin ivan Melendez was performing their as a singer... i even did the bar a favor to go to a gas station to change 200 dollars in 5$ in 5s to have change for entance which I went to 3 cuz the time it was to get them change witch was 11pm they still didn't have the table they promised us and always sayed we was waiting for these ppl that was eating and I bean their since 9pm and they said they had us a table they never gave us the table that supposedly they had that they haven't finish eating that when thay was done they give us the table... whitch was bull... after we gave them a favor we ask the same person about the even though I ask him for the six time Whats up with our tabke when their was alot if empty table... so we sat next to the fam on a empty table since they never gave us one and it was empty and during the hole time they gave us a hard time even though we spend so much money their drinking and having a great time and nobody nevel was their for the table we was on it... they had bad survice, lousy staff ,a big dxck of a security and I...

If you want excellent customer service, an inviting atmosphere, and delicious food & drinks, this is your place! We were in the area visiting from New Jersey. We really wanted to eat some Dominican food and decided to go to this restaurant. From the moment we walked in, the hostess was incredibly kind and sat us down right away. She answered all our questions about the items listed on the menu and even made a few drink recommendations. We got spicy margaritas which were top-notch and a Trifongo dish with garlic sauce as an appetizer. My wife got some Chivo with rice and beans and I got the churrosco with rice and beans. Our kids got entrées also and their food was outstanding! Everything that we ordered was absolutely delicious and the portion sizes were amazing.
