We contacted flowers by tammy for wedding decor. Our original meeting was with star and she helped guide our vision for our wedding. We then went back up to Flowers by Tammy a couple months later and had a meeting with Amy -- who was absolutely fabulous. I give them 2 stars (which is generous) mostly due to on our rehearsal day, when I showed up at the venue Star was there setting things up, she came up to me and was super rude and demanding. I informed her my wedding planner was on the way however she would not wait, she continued to be extremely rude. After looking through the decor I noticed only about 70% of the things they brought were correct - our "guest book signs" and other signs were not what we had discussed and secured. We also secured an item to have the "timeline" placed on and was told they could get it completed - my wedding planner e-mailed them the timeline and we didnt hear back from them - When I called the office about a week before the wedding, I was told that it was not detailed enough and its too late to get this completed. You would think an e-mail back asking for a more detailed timeline to place on the board would have been asked - but nothing was communicated. I can get past the decor not being 100% right, but I cannot get over the way Star talked to me or her attitude toward me. They came highly recommended by our venue, and to say I am extremely disappointed is the least of it. (Wedding...
Read moreOn July 13 one year ago, our baby was stillborn. We normally use West Town Florist (they made all of the arrangements for her funeral), but I did not realize they closed early the day I needed to place the order. I happened to drive by Flowers by Tammy when looking for an alternative. We arranged for a flat spray of miniature red and yellow roses, and baby's breath. I was quoted $45-55. When I arrived the next day (on our way to our daughter's grave to be with her on the one-year anniversary), I was given a $25 arrangement. Make no mistake--it was a lovely $25 arrangement, for sure. But it was clearly not a $45-55 arrangement and at no point did anyone think to call me to ask if that was okay. Maybe they didn't have enough roses, I don't know. But again, someone should have called me. Instead, I had to take what they gave me because there was no time to reorder from someone else. I will remember to check West Town's hours next time. It was already a miserable day for us, and getting less than what I asked for--and agreed to pay for--just...
Read moreAgain, would give more stars if available. I called yesterday, as a friend of my daughter passed. Both have ten year old boys, who have been friends since prek. Asked if they had stuffed animals , blankies for a ten year old boy. Though they didn't, I asked. If I brought things in, could they make an arrangement, incorporating items I brought( also. See my Five Below review). I take items in. They made a beautiful floral arrangement, blue and yellow( at my grandson's request) with the Pikachu plushie in it. The other items, they put in a nice gift bag, bows, paper, etc. Just gorgeous and kid friendly, for a child going through a heartbreaking time. Gorgeous work. Helpful, kind people. Very affordable. Thank you- it meant so much to my grandson. This is a business, with employees, that we are blessed to have in...
