Literally could give 0 stars if possible. bought a PS4 controller from a “vendor” in the store that needs to be shut down from being able to vend there! Employee told me he didn’t know if the controller worked, but i talked to the vendor and he told me they are all tested per him. when we got the controller the speaker doesn’t work on it and it’s NOT wireless, like the vendor said it was. he wanted to try to say it wasn’t changed all the way and it was the charging cable and yada yada yet when you unplug it for the PS4 it disconnects from the game. i asked if i could go back to the store for a refund as it was $37 used and got told by the vender no because we should’ve checked it first when we weren’t able to, and he said he checked then so why should we have to DOUBLE check him? according to the store the vendor is a lawyer but i definitely wouldn’t want him as my lawyer if he can’t even be truthful about a controller. so now we are out almost $40 for a controller that doesn’t even work and won’t get a refund for it! absolute BS for the the vendor to...

This is the best place to play magic in the triad. I just started playing magic and my very first interaction at a different card shop wasn’t good at all. So this made me super nervous to just show up at another card shop and just feel left out or even worse sit around waiting for people to play. Well not at Dragons hoard, my first time going there the store manager (Justin) gave me great recommendations on upgrades for a deck, helped me learn the game better, and even went out of his way to get me into a pod to play with a group. Then you have the store owners that are in there constantly helping and constantly listening to their customers. The store has big events and it gets crowded at times. So what did the store owners do, well they bought the building next door so that way big events wouldn’t ruin your plans of playing war hammer, loricana and magic! So, we recently moved to High Point in April. This was one of the shops in the area for our geek fix. I never see Gundam stuff in stores anymore and that's what got me in there to investigate. This place is up and coming, and with any newer business comes challenges. Even with those challenges, you will find an amazing staff and community present. This isn't a shop that you find 'snobby geek attitude' for not knowing everything about your interests. Instead, you find people there willing to help and teach you about the various hobbies present. (Warhammer Table Top, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh, and a very sick 3D printing capability). Pricing is fair, and quite a big Funko collection too.
