A huge selection of books at low prices. The best part of the shop (besides the staff) is the big selection of records, CDs, and even cassettes.

The store even takes in trades toward store credit. However, you cannot use book credit toward music credit. This is understandable. No one wants 100 copies of "Flowers for Algernon" in exchange for Pink Floyd or James Brown. Papa don't take no mess.

Most used bookstores I have been to only work on a cash or store credit basis, but they also take cards which is very convenient.

And it is the perfect bookstore in so much as they have a rotating stock and serendipity flows throughout the building. Oh, they didn't have something you were looking for? Check back later. In the meantime, here are about 10 books you weren't actively looking for but need in your life like yesterday.

The staff is well read and is extremely helpful. They can easily guide you to the section you're seeking, and they can even suggest some similar choices.

I love David's Used Books! For the past few months I've been "sharing" books with them -- from my collection of "happily read" or "read-me-soon" volumes that have been on my shelves for years. They deserve to be enjoyed.bynothees instead of gethering dust at my place. In exchange, I've received (and promptly used) store credit for the books they've accepted, finding and redistributing self-help books to a discussion group where I'm a member! The staff at David's has also "redirected" books from a recent yard sale, which were helpful, well-known books but not up to the store's physical condition standards, to community outreaches that they and I both support -- a wonderful secondary benefit! The store is clean, wonderfully stocked with books of every kind, and tended to by a small but very polite, efficient, knowledgeable staff whose love of books is a wonderful perk for a biblio-fan like me! I will be giving to and benefitting from David's Used Books for as long as I live in this part of...

If we had the chance to give a zero star I would . I called the store last week and spoke to someone that seemed to be nicer (IDK I don't think it was the man I spoke to today) I told him I was going to drop off some old 45's that I didn't want (said I didn't want any money just to drop them off) today I got from some tall skinny man "do you want to sell these b/c we don't really sell them and I'll give you five dollars for the entire box" he flips through them not knowing there are some RARE records I said is David here and he said I am David I'm thinking to myself well David you are just RUDE why would I donate a box of old 45's to some place that don't even want them let alone think they are worth $5 . This is what you have no clue about young man and I use the term loosely there are many DJ PROMO records in there , Elvis Sun Record of "Its alright Mama" DJ copy and other rare records .
