Blondie's Cookies — Local services in Greenwood

edit 6/21/20 we were in the area once again and gave this blondies a shot. Could not be happier with them! The lady behind the counter was the only person on duty that we could see, but she was great. Getting what you want with a smile; friendly and she also had several customers rush her at once. The cookies... wow. They were still warm and just a good as ever. Thank you for the change of pace at this location, it is much appreciated by us! Will gladly spend the $$$ on them anytime when they taste that good.

Not the best experience with Blondie's. We usually go to the keystone location. I knew there was a location at the Greenwood mall and we were in the area for other things, so I stopped to get a couple dozen chocolate chip for ourselves and a friend. My husband had a difficult time getting a decent response from an employee, so he stepped away and I just quickly ordered chocolate chip and left. Get home, pull cookies out, everyone just looks at each other. The cookies are hard as could be. That's the best part about blondies and why we grab some when we can. If I could give this place a negative score, I would. I ordered a cookie cake for my son's birthday, scheduled pickup for tonight at 6. When I arrived, I was told by the incompetent blonde girl behind the counter that they didn't make it and they "didn't know what to tell [me]". Then gave me an attitude because I asked for more than an "I dunno" answer. I called the manager who offered a 50% discount on something I'd have to drive back up to get, i asked for a full refund which they couldn't provide because the incompetent didn't know how. Needless to say they hire incompetent people and then can't fix...

The larger sugar cookies are too salty and bready. Tastes like there's too much baking soda in their recipe. Definitely not worth the 5-10 USD per cookie. The smaller standard cookies (snickerdoodles, chocolate chips, etc.) are okay but nothing special. I'd skip this place personally and go for ice cream or boba instead.
