Iāve tried on 2 occasions to give this establishment a chance, I can now certify they are definitely prejudice:
2020: I entered during the pandemic phase, mask on like everyone else. I was never greeted as I saw other customers were, nor was I asked for help. However there was magically an employee on every single aisle I went to, watching my every move. Disgusted, I hesitantly paid for my items. One of the cashiers even noticed this asinine behavior and mentioned it to me when I went to purchase items for my sonās soccer season.
2022: I had to return to this specific location at my podiatrists request to get a certain type of athletic shoe. Again upon entering was never greeted. I had to go to the front and ask for someone to help me. I laughed when I saw other employees go to āotherā patrons and ask āif they were finding everything ok?ā I could not even get eye contact.
Perhaps a culturally inclusive training at your facility could help. I doubt it. I shouldnāt have to make mention that I am a doctor to gain respect. It was my off day, I donāt have to show up in doctor attire and even if I did, I doubt it would make a difference. When you know better you do better. Everyone that looks like me isnāt a criminal nor steals. The cycle continues. I indeed will never return. To my people: GO WHERE...

There was 1 line open and at least 6 people in line. Some were making purchases while others were making returns (which should be done at th e customer service desk). After waiting in line for approximately 15 minutes and only 2 people in front of me, a new register opened beside me (18 in away). All those from the back of the line (behind me) got in line. The cashier did not stop them and just checked them out (way ahead of the rest of us). I waited for at least 15 min more (total of 30-35 min) in line for one item. The cashiers had no sense of urgency. I can honestly say that I will no longer shop at Dickās. They are over-priced and normally understaffed if you need assistance or a knowledgable rep. However, after I called their customer support line, Iāve received nothing but great customer service and communication. They went above and beyond to help and to make things right. Ordered an item online on January 1st. Received an email (see attached picture) on January 6th stating my package would be arriving in 1 to 2 days. We never received it.
