My advice: AVOID
Guy working there at first said he could get a repair quote in about an hour - that's all I wanted - a quote. Two working days later (they're closed on the weekends), I still hadn't gotten a text, a phone call, nothing... I went in to follow up, see what was going on, and he said he had not gotten around to it... Next day I got a kind of incoherent vm from the guy working there, but with still no actual quote for a repair cost due to... reasons... He mentioned in his vm that he would need to see if he could find a part, and that even though he couldn't likely find all parts he thought were necessary, he would look for the critical part he mentioned, and get me a quote. So I though, fine. He's slow, but ok... Next day I call him back, and in that phone call he challenged me, asking me when did I listen to his vm (why does that matter). Then had the gall to ask me did I actually listen to his vm... In this phone call he says it would be "probably about $xyz" (which would be almost the cost of a new device). So I said I would go get my device back and get out of your hair then. He STILL has the device open when I get there over an hour later to pick it up. He finally hands it to me, and he broke the back of the phone! Now it's even MORE damaged than when I brought it in! I guess he thought I would just leave at that point, but I did go back in and I demanded at least a partial refund. I asked to speak to someone else other than him, and he said he "would have to figure out how to call his manager"... WHAT? He said "it says on there (no idea what he was talking about) that it's non-refundable" (talking about the diagnostic service I initially went in for, a WEEK ago at this point). Totally confusing... so... you "have to figure out how to call your manager" and "it" says something about not being able to refund me, when you didn't diagnose the device? Pretty sure that's the definition of something that's refundable... I paid you for a diagnostic service. You NEVER delivered that. You should refund me. Ain't brain surgery.
He never did get his manager on the phone...
Guy working there is just... super rude, super difficult to work with, horrible at communicating overall, really bad at talking to customers, can't meet your OWN timelines... damaged my device even more than it was in the first place... just really, really... bad.
Next day, I brought my device to another shop in Portland that got my screen replaced in about 30 minutes, and ordered the back glass that YOU damaged. By the end of their repairs, they will have cost me over $100 less than this store was going to charge, and that's WITH the extra charges to replace the back glass that wasn't broken in the first place....
I kind of want this store to compensate me for the back glass they destroyed... what...
Read moreWe’ve used this place in the past with multiple devices and have always had a great experience, until this last one.
My daughter had dropped her phone in water in May of 2024( her bad). She took it in and they told her they replaced the whole mother board and charged her a little approx $250- she was good with this as she understood it was her bad. They fixed it and everything was good.
She went in March of 2025 as her phone kept shutting off even when it had 60% battery and was told it needed a new battery, she gladly paid them another $200 for a new battery.
Third time -she takes the phone in on Monday around noon and tells them her phone is getting hot to the touch whenever she’s on it since the battery was changed and it’s been getting worse. Before it would only be after long periods of time, but now it’s within minutes. They tell her they’ll look at it. Tues afternoon comes nd hasn’t heard anything, so she goes in to check and the guy says he hasn’t had time to look at. Okay, maybe they’re busy. Wednesday comes around and don’t get a call until Wednesday night around 6 pm. Guy tells us the mother board needs to be replaced AGAIN, but he’s not sure 100% as they haven’t done a diagnostic.. and wants us to pay $200 when he just said he’s not even sure exactly what’s wrong. I tell him she just paid to replace that and he is extremely rude and keeps repeating it was 13 months ago- mind you, no issues with the phone until they replaced the battery. Anyways after my husband goes in to talk to the guy that her phone was fine before the battery, the guy ends up saying if it’s the same thing as before they’ll replace it for free.
ITS THURSDAY have had no communication from them.. husband calls for an update and says “ yeah sorry we can’t fix this”. FIRST how unprofessional that we’ve had to continuously call and every time he seems to have an update, but never bothered to reach out and tell us what’s going on.
Second- yesterday he was fine charging us $200 saying it would fix the problem and then once we came to an agreement about them covering the cost all the sudden the phone can’t be fixed?
Before I would refer people here, but after my experience with this gentlemen he has changed our mind. Super unprofessional, rude, no communication. And quite frankly, I don’t feel like he’s being genuine that it...
Read moreI did not have the best experience with this repair business. I brought my OLED switch to them as my son had hit it. The issue was not regarding how I was treated or the quality of their work (as I could not tell if something was done or if a lot of time was put into it or not). The real issue is the lack of communication that was given. Calling this business, you expect a certain level of quality as they have an automated answering service that gives you options, as well as letting you know that the call will be monitored for quality purposes and training. I assumed these were good signs that I was going to be treated professionally. I was not. When I walked in to hand my Switch to the gentleman behind the counter, I was met with a friendly dimeanor and professionalism. The worker took my information and I handed him my Switch and was told I would get a text the next day. I received no such text and was left wondering what was going on with my device. So, I called and was told that a component was replaced, yet the device did not turn on. They told me they would try some other things. I was fine with that. Two more days went by, and I had not heard anything from this business. So, I called once more and was told that they did not know why the device would not turn on. I asked when they would have a final verdict, they said they had tried everything they could to fix the device. So, at that point I surmised that there was nothing else they could do for me. So, I asked if I could come pick it up and they told me that was fine. I only wish that there were more communication from this business about updates and progress. This experience really left me wondering if they even worked on my device or not. If they do not pay attention to simple customer service, where else might they be lacking? I might try this business again in the future, but first impressions are...
