By far this target šÆ was one of my favorite stores to shop besides Esplanade location . I reside in the Laplace Area which we donāt have a target . On 11/23/2018(BLACK FRIDAY) I walked in and notice all the great changes made to the store . Iām a teacher and love to shop the dollar area because of the amount of students I indeed purchase for . Well i came across an ice cream Truck that had a sign of $14.99 . I said to my boyfriend and daughters WoW the students would love this , but let me be sure of the pricing Iām looking at . Well my boyfriend spotted an associate by the name of Shalain and I asked this young lady about the $14.99 price , she takes out the little price checker and stated it $100 Dollars takes the sign down and stated sheāll be back . Mind you she left for about 10 minutes came back and stated that i will get the Truck for the price I saw it at . I indeed asked her again the $14.99 Right ? There was also another sign that read $25.99 on that same end cap along with the ice cream truck. I said once again the $14.99 right , she stated again at the price you saw it at . Well i get to the register to inform Ms. Vanessa the cashier of what Shalin told me to do and that was to have them call her about the price , Vanessa Stated to the Supervisior Nikki that Shalain was given me the $100 dollar truck for $14.99 and i had to correct her because Shalin wasnāt giving me anything lady . She did stated that came out wrong ummmhummm .! (Unprofessional) The Supervisior Nikki had this look like Ooookkkkkk she definitely called Shalin and asked and i hear her telling Nikki i told her Iāll give it to her at $25.00 , No maāam thatās not what Shalin told me . Shalin is trying to cover her butt up now . We never discussed $25 because again I didnāt ask about a $25 dollar sign . Shalin Lied BIG TYME!!! Jack which is another Manager I can clearly telling them all to make it right ( being a retail Manager for as long as i had I indeed knew exactly what he meant ) Well Shalin continued to act as if her and I discussed a $25 dollar price tag. From what was told the $14.99 sign was for a Tonka truck which wasnāt no where on the shelf at all . So yes Iām very disappointed at each person because they definitely sided with Shalin LIE and not the customer who was told the wrong information . Truck $100 with a $14.99 & a $25.99 dollar amount which was behind the very large truck . Shalin is a little liar and itās not my fought you have lazy workers who completely put wrong price signs up ! Manager for 20 years I KNOW BETTER! Play that foolishness with somebody else . There was also 2 other customers that wasnāt happy at all about their Situation. š” Beware of the Liars in this store ! Store manager Alicia Iām be calling...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI loaded up my 1yr old and 6 yr old, who both have the flu and have been throwing up and battling a very high fever bc I was DESPERATE for diapers (I had just used my last one). I drove 20 minutes to Target so that I could use the drive up service bc none of us were dressed appropriately for the store. I followed the prompts, waited for the email saying that my items were ready, checked in, and waited in the designated parking area. NO ONE came to the car. After waiting for 20 minutes, I called the store. I was very rudely told that there were no drive up orders and that I had to come in. I begged someone to take my name and/or my order number, BC I did indeed have an order, and perhaps if they actually took my order number or name they may be able to locate it. I was transferred countless times and eventually hung up on. I called back and begged the girl not to hang up or transfer me. She very rudely reiterated that I was mistaken bc they had no drive up orders. I began to behave this girl for help, but she transferred me anyway. After about 30 or 35 minutes, I finally pleaded with someone to look up my name, and Boom my order popped right up. In tears, I explained that my sick children and I were not dressed and that was the reason I drove all the way to target rather than going into a closer store. At some point the drive up employee came out to my car with my 2 items (diapers and wipes) and began to berate me for not using the app properly. I pulled put the app and showed her that I did indeed do everything correctly, yet they refused to come out to my car. Her attitude changed when a supervisor walked out and handed me a $25 gift card as if that was supposed to make it ok. It was 6:15... I got the email that my order was ready and 4:30, drove straight to Target, and did not get my items until 6:15! It is very insulting to think that my hour of screaming sick children, parked in the parking lot waiting for my items, was worth a $25 gift card. Needless to say, I will not be utilizing this service in the future. This was an all around horrible experience that could have easily been avoided had ONE EMPLOYEE taken the slightest interest...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is normally a place I shop without any issues - until now. I was in the store shortly after they opened today. Got my things and proceeded to the self check out lane. Put a $20 bill in to the machine. It wasn't accepted. Tried again, no luck. The associate tried a couple of times as well without success. She called someone else over, who I am under the impression was a manager. That next person took the $20 bill and held it up to the lights and told me "this bill seems flimsy". The bill was a little older but in no means in unusable condition. She instructed the 1st associate to go use the counterfeit marker on it. The bill was fine. The associate called the manager over to her counter to show her the outcome. Then, they both scribbled on it again. The associate was instructed to go to the Starbucks counter with my $20 bill. I was thinking that since the bill passed "inspection" maybe they would trade it out so the machine could accept a different bill . My same $20 bill was brought back to me and I was told it was "not real". I was asked for another form of payment. REALLY! I left what was going to be my purchase on the check out line. To top it all off, another person who was having trouble with a machine gave the same associate her money for a drink - the associate simply opened the machine a gave HER change. I took my business to the Walgreens right down the block and used the exact same $20 bill without...
