ALDI — Local services in Griffin

Got there at 7:45 and was told we close in 15 minutes. I done my shopping and was on the way to check out at 7:58 I know cutting it close right? Realized I forgot a box of muffins and announced to the cashier just one second while I grab a box of muffins to which the cashier replied we close at 8 very rudely so I check out and leave the store at 8:01 didn't make the 8:00 cut off and to my surprise there was 2 city of Griffin officers waiting on me as I was informed I was "trespassing" and the manager wanted to press charges on me. Fortunately the incident was being recorded with a date and time stamp for reference and the officer unkindly stated that they would let me go with a warning this time but next time I would be ticketed and possibly arrested. Needless to say I wont shop there again and they make it nearly impossible to report or file a complaint on the employees. I mean can you imagine sitting in jail when big bubba asks what your in for and you reply......buying a box...

This review has nothing to do with the store itself. The store was clean and well stocked, and this was my first time ever inside of an Aldi’s. This review is for the young lady who checked me out yesterday with the nasty attitude. The young girl was Caucasian, thin, a very short haircut with tattoos on her hands and arms. She either had a lip ring or a nose ring. I don’t recall which. She was aggravated because she was still having to work, although it was time for her to get off. Cursing under her breath, but still loud enough that I could hear it. She was throwing my items in the cart like you would dunk a basketball into a hoop. Terrible attitude! Just a nasty scowl on her face, and not someone I want to check me out again. I wished that I could give them negative stars! I am beyond words on this experience that only appeared to get worse and worse. I would blame this all on InstaCart but Griffin Aldi’s has yet to communicate back to me despite messages, requests for call backs. I am home bound and was without groceries due to inability to go when the storm came in. My delivery was to be Friday between 3 and 5, it was rescheduled without notifying me to the next day, then it was rescheduled twice for that day again without notification to the next day. I went a total of 3 days being rescheduled without notification or explanation til I had to cancel. This is why they are not even in the same league as Wal-mart. I called Walmart and without charging me the rish delivery actually it was free they had my order pulled and delivered within 2 hours. If you are okay treating me this way, how do they treat...
