Zacster's Hobbies and More — Local services in Grover Beach

I have never had a bad experience at Zacster's. I discovered this gem of a shop by chance when looking for local hobby shops that carried Gundam plastic model kits. At the time they didn't carry that line of products, but they were willing to order some in for myself and others who had an interest in this niche pastime. I bought my first Gundam kit from Zacster's and it made me fall in love with a new hobby, which in my opinion is exactly what a hobby shop should aspire to do. These products are hard to find in America, and the fact that Zacster's was willing to accommodate their clientele to the extent of ordering products from Japan and doing their best to stay stocked with these products left a lasting effect on me.

I've shopped there for around two years now and I've only grown more satisfied about this business with time. Warm, friendly customer service and a nice array of RC toys, games, model kits, puzzles, and art supplies, and decent prices keep me coming back time and again. The proprietor has also been excellent regarding communication, answering questions quickly and sending pictures of what products they have in stock upon request. Not even Covid-19 has impacted the quality of their customer service. Yesterday (6-12-20) I was pleasantly surprised to see them open for business and with new model kit inventory to boot!

Best Little Hobby Store On The Central Coast! Zac carries a nice assortment of hobby related products and toys in his store.

If you are into drones like I am, Zac stocks a variety of drones, accessories and parts ranging from beginner indoor drones to mid level racing drones . I picked up a couple of entry and mid level, near RTF racing drones from Zac. Sure I probably could have paid a bit less on Ebay, online or from Banggood (China). However, if you run into problems or issues getting your drone up and running, good luck in trying to resolving those issues from an online or overseas company. Zac goes the extra mile in helping resolve whatever issue I've had. He even contacted the company in China while trouble shooting what was preventing an entry level racing drone from performing as advertised.

Zacster’s is a one of a kind place. Where do I even start? If you need R/C Parts, cars trucks, drones and even toys/ models, this is the best place. The gentleman I dealt with was very helpful and even generously provided me some of the shops own solder (solder not sold in store.)

I really enjoy businesses that are genuine and kind to all customers. Hobby shops sometimes have a stigma of “beginners suck” attitude. It was the complete opposite when I stepped into Zacster’s.

I highly recommend Zacster’s to anyone looking to get in to a hobby or to supply themselves with parts and other toys.

Lastly, the prices of all the parts and paint I purchased were the cheapest I have found in the San Luis Obispo county area. I hope more of us will continue to enjoy hobbies and R/C. This is the best...
