This place was so awesome! Getting older and with people the way they’ve become so rude, so entitled, and especially driving like morons with no common sense has started to turn me off completely from wanting to enjoy a nice, relaxing drive just to get some fresh air and sun. The gorilla in The Super Mario Bros movie drives a hell of a lot better than people today! I had totally forgotten what 95 actually looked like since my years of having worked at SNET there in Long Wharf. I loved looking around today and enjoying my surroundings. Well, first time ever in Guilford, CT. I talk to the owners of this shop on FB about their products. They always come back with a quick, informative answer. They show that level of caring that you can pick up on even if it’s in an electronic message. I went, I saw, and as usual I overspent. But hey, it’s not going with me. The ladies are so wonderful. They greet you at the door. They engage with you in friendly small talk as if they had known you all your life. You feel really welcome here. No snobbery. The products are beautiful and all kinds of different. You can’t find duplicates of them. They carry a wide selection from all sorts of artisans from all over. I hope to return in warmer weather and just visit and walk around and take in the beauty of what is Guilford. They have a lot of nice parking around the green. The green is beautiful with its gazebo and it is surrounded by all these cute little small business shops! It was just such a quaint little town.
